Apparently the JG MP5s are all plastic-bodied, but still not too bad despite that. Not particularly study but also not particularly weak. The Cyma MP5s seem to get good reviews, but they're about £230 for an SD. Another thing to bear in mind for CQB, the SDs are about 4" longer than a regular MP5, if that matters to you. They still look cool as hell and you can hide a tracer inside the silencer. 👌🏻

Hi all, Looking for a new cheap-ish CQB tool, And I came across the JG MP5SD. I'm a bit of an MP5SD fan, Plus I'm not looking for too much FPS. Just wondering if it's a little too flimsy for the £120 price range? I do throw myself around alot in outdoor matches, So I don't want it coming apart like a Lego model. Alternatively, Was eyeing one of those Vorsk GBB subguns if the MP5SD is a bit naff. Thanks.

I wear my Garmin Instinct as it's pretty tough, and cover it with a Sterling Timepieces watch cover with a bit of extra padding sewn inside https://stirlingtimepieces.com/products/tactical-watch-cover

Maybe, just maybe, the V3 tappet plate in the V2 gearbox that was installed by the previous owner wasn't the smartest move..... I dunno. Some people....😳🧐

As everyone else has posted, bin the puffy ones. They're on their way out and are a fire hazard

Given the unavailability of genuine TM mags what is the 2nd best option? Fire Support have some choices?

Honestly, though I cant speak for anyone else, I would never touch a 2nd hand battery, especially if they have started becoming puffy. Chuck the puffy ones and try and sell the two that arent.

Used batteries are minefield to price because of the lost charge capacity and, especially with LiPos, their safety. I'd say £35 to £40 is the ball park. I'm not sure what ParcelForce would charge for shipping but that may be your only option as most other couriers won't ship LiPo batteries on their own for non-business accounts.

I had this issue with the Noveske N4. Tried filing as directed above but the hop still wound itself off after a few mags. I solved it once and for all by ditching the stock hop adjuster for an archwick tdc one.

I wear my ex issue magnums from my RAF days and they have always been amazing comfortable boots with a nice wide fit. Can't moan. They are hard wearing (15 year old boots and still plenty of tread)

I've always ran with a cheapo watch but the other day I accidentally forgot to change it and used my automatic watch and watched a BB hit it and I had a heart attack luckily no damage just bounced off but straight after took it off and went back to not wearing one as I didn't have my cheap digital one with me.

Hello, I am considering selling 5 x 1,100 11.1 volt lipos batteries or possibly swapping them. But I am looking to down grade for some 7.4s similar size in deans. The 3 nuprol batteries are around a year old and have been heavily used. The plastic wrapping on some of them have started to crack and are a little puffy but ever so slight. But the 2 Hilldow batteries are around 3 months old and are practically new. ( all batteries are numbered from 1-5 with my label machine to keep track of circulation ) All batteries still hold a charge but the nuprols only hold around 80% of a full charge. I would estimate the value at roughly around £40. £45 if posted. Is my estimation correct? Thanks Many thanks

Thanks for the advice everyone! Sounds like if I make a genuine effort to check they have some sort of VCRA defence and apply a bit of common sense, that should be sufficient. As some of you have mentioned, it's (hopefully) very unlikely someone is going to be irresponsible with anything I've sold, so chances of me having to prove my innocence in any way is pretty slim! Really appreciate the help 👍
