Actually …. the washing machine is not an absolute no. But whenever I’ve needed to give vests, chest rigs etc a good clean I have dunked them in the bath after me, left them in the bath or over the bath to drip overnight and then hung up. For the washing machine: dismantle / remove any possible separate pouches Ensure every pouch, pocket, lining etc is empty turn it inside out and zip it up, buckle it etc (on the assumption that any dangly bits such as fixed pockets, straps etc will then be inside the main body) put it inside something (the something would ideally be a net laundry bag, but could be a pillow cover or other fabric bag - this aims to protect the vest from your washing machine drum and your drum from the vest) run the machine on a reasonable setting, such as not the fastest spin Be amazed at how pristine it is on completion and don’t complain to me if it gets ripped/your machine breaks down/you get caught by your other half

Most times I just hang it up outside to air off. If it gets particuarly bad, put some washing gear in a bucket with warm water and give it a couple swirls/dunks. Leave for about 30 mins, rinse in clean water and hang dry.
-
Hi, can anyone recommend mid caps which fit and feed well in this? Preferably "classic" stanag style, and preferably metal shell
-
Moon on a stick springs to mind.

Most of the time I just hang it up and leave it to air. If it's bad, I'll give it a hose down first.

Up for sale is my TM SGR-12 Mosfet, including all the wires needed to plug and play. I removed this to replace with a custom wiring loom so I can add pre-cocking to the gun. This mosfet works just fine however. This will be an ideal replacement for any dead mosfets in: TM SGR-12, TM AA-12 or the CYMA SGR-12 clone. All the parts are there, fuse, fuse holder, motor connectors, insulating rubber, plastic cover, screws to attach the fet to the gearbox, power LED and the connecting plug to attach to the trigger wiring loom. Please note: It has been rewired to deans. This has been used, but not particularly heavily, always with a 7.4v Lipo. Paypal is fine, looking for £35 posted, £30 collected from CB6.£35

After a particularly sweaty day on Sunday, my chest rug was left a little damp. How are you all cleaning yours? I know I can't just throw it in the washing machine! Is Fabreeze the way to go? 🤷♂️

Ares L85 ETU (Product code AR-85-EFCS). Had this sitting around a while as got it for a project that I never ended up collecting! Never been used, removed from packaging to inspect but put back inside and not used since. I'm not planning on getting an Ares L85 anytime soon, so this is surplus to requirements. Looking for £40 all in. Paypal is fine, happy to post or collection around CB6 and i'll do it for £32 cash.£40

Hard to really say it's worth it when you could build out a VFC AK74M pretty close to that for about the same or slightly more. And it wouldn't be a ten year old design pretending to be a lost relic. GHK AKs were great in their day but the V2s especially have a number of really annoying flaws, and aftermarket doesn't really fix a few of them. This would be half the price if the V3s weren't so dogshit that everyone got rose tinted glasses for the V2s.
-
This. Also it's worth remembering that we're using things which are relatively mass produced and put together without any precision or tuning so 2 identical guns could easily produce different noise levels depending on whether they were put together at the start or 10 minutes before the end of shift

Full box, few minor marks on the top but almost good as new, had to turn it on to double check it wasn't the real one I'm selling. It's a great repro only real give away is the red dot not being the full holographic but that's like £400. NV works on this, goes to an IR diode. Just found an small allen key option to mount the optic to rails in the box, always wondered why they went with the huge flat head bit there, so it comes with a choice. £85 posted£85

Sorry to hear Snuff. Even if you have to reduce the number of game days, be thankful you can still play. Some of us(me) can't play at all anymore 😢
