Had another great day out at Apocalypse on Sunday, been a busy week so only just finding the time to write it up. Was a busy day, with a larger than usual crowd, the marshal team from Worthing were visiting and I can only assume a few of the players from Invicta were there while the are closed to relocate. Took the newly upgraded, by the site tech Ricky, DMR'd LCT G3, newly acquired WE Apache MP5, backup Cyma MP5 (incase of breakdowns) and trusty Sig 226 as a secondary. First game was domination, 3 locations, the team holding 2 at the end won. I took the G3 and SIG into this game and used it purely to bed in the G3, went down the bottom of the village and picked off the other team as they advanced from their spawn. Really enjoyed the DMR game and held my spot well, moved a couple of times as I kept getting lit up by AEG's but they didn't have the range. Went back to the range after 500 rounds to adjust the hop and scope and it was shooting very well, lots of range. Second game was move your bomb to the other teams base. I picked a shady spot to the side of our base with the G3 to pick off the other teams advances. Played well and a couple of our teams guys were luring the other team forward while I picked them off. Different play style for me as I usually only take a pistol into these games and run with the bomb. Went back to the range and adjusted everything at the end of the game and the G3 was comfortably hitting targets at the end of the range, exactly what I wanted. Third game was capture the marshal. The marshal went and hid on site, you had to grab him and take him back to your base, if you let him go he could run. Took the GBB MP5 out for this one. The other team found the marshal first and took him back to their base. I ran out of ammo in the first ten minutes as I got carried away with the Apache and 140 BB's didn't last that long so dropped to the SIG. I got tagged pretty quickly and walked back to re spawn. On my way back into the game I spotted the marshal we needed to capture running towards me, I gave chase and caught him, dragged him back to our base and kept a very firm grip of him until the game ended surrounded by most of the team. All in a great day, good verity in the game play and the last game was an epic moving BB fight with a very quick marshal that could have gone either way. A few people (morons) wandering around the safe zone with mags in guns understandably got the Marshall team het up. A few grumbles about non hit takers and overkill but I didn't see that. Overall very happy with the day, site was great, game play was aggressive but fair from both teams and I think I have my weapon selection and upgrades sorted. I need to find some better (non fogging) eye pro for stationary DMR'ing as I was fogging up badly at times.

Asg scorpion evo 3 New magnesium gearbox shell, upgraded spring guide, flat speed trigger. New one piece electronic trigger with one use since fitting. 2 highcap magazines. As be seen in the picture it has ripper tactical short handguard, short barrel with hop unit and stock fitted. Will come with the origional handguard, outer barrel with parts, origional inner barrel, hop unit and stock. The charging handle just needs swapping over and you may need to obtain another lower power spring to keep within fps limits if changing it over to stock parts. The picture of the rear with spring guide installed shows some damage this is a secondhand replacement as managed to damage the origional and is not seen with stock installed and doesn’t affect the operation of the rif. It’s fully working in all selector settings and a great rif and will be sorry to see it go but I’ve decided to follow other interests. Please note No swaps i just need to sell.350.00 GBP

This. Some of the knock offs do look identical to the real ones but I wouldn't trust them to protect my eyes. -

G&G PRK9 Full metal construction with a polymer folding stock. Gate aster v3 advanced with only 1909 bbs shot. Great condition. The rear sight is a 3d printed replacement as I managed to lose the origional, but still looks the part. Uninspiring is the adjective to use, I will list in bullet points the cons 1.Safety brief was mediocre , missed out MED's and other vital rules for safety , poorly described the boundary's to the site. 2.Marshals lack of control on the players ,''example'' single shot only when in structures shooting in and out of , i counted 4 times the marshals shouting ''single only in the buildings'' ''example 2'' over killing and shooting dead players i experienced overkill on every death i had today my hand was clearly up , it was done intentionally , also heard the marshals remind everyone more then 3 times and yet it still happened . 3. chrono practices , chrono on .2s is 20 years out of date and leaves big gaps for joule creep and people to cheat the chrono green gas pistols where not chrono at all big safety risk , the one good thing was chrono on the weight you where using for DMR's and sniper rifles, thumbs up for that , but everyone should be chrono on the weight there using . I'm quite sure some of the hits i received where hot. 4. The battle grid , the battle space , the ''map'' quite disappointing, tho it is being built up it is Uninspiring, forces you into the woods on either side and then to just wait for the enemy to walk into you and for you into them , the new site is probably 1/8 the size of the old site ,any cover that's been put down is just that is been put down with no thought for the job it's supposed to do and is pretty random . 5. Changing of rules , the last game i played today was an attack and defend game , i decide to wait in the treeline at the back of the last objective, only to be told 10 mins in that i was not allowed to , this was not mentioned at the start with the explanation of the game and relates to poorly describing boundary's from No1, after this i decide to leave . In conclusion for a site that has been going for 10+ years you would think experience would have ironed out the ''little'' problems , 40% of the max capacity turned up and 25% had left by lunch including me, for 30 quid you are probably better off at a different venue .
