The stuff on it isn't new, but I figured I'd try one of these belt setups that velcro attaches onto a regular belt underneath. £20 on Aliexpress and so far I'm liking it. If I really like it, I may invest in a proper one, but for now this is fine and I will test it next weekend by using just it as a super lightweight setup. I should be able to carry everything I need for a game, but if not I can carry a small backpack with gas and BBs if needed. If anything I might remove the dump pouch if I don't end up using it. It isn't as scrunched together when it's actually on me, due to angles.

Nice will check them out! I’m imagining having a mix of maybe 1:2 white to black so every burts kind of shows where you’re shootingn but hoping the opponent only thinks there’s one coming to them 😂

Hey everyone 👋 Just wanted to get some advice on the rules on selling second hand airsoft guns in the uk and on this site. I'm based in the channel Islands so our rules differ quite a bit and I don't want to potentially get myself or anyone else in any trouble.

Given how airsofters with white BB's often have trouble telling what they're hitting (or not), the assumption that "stealth" BB's are going to be awesome are often not matched by the reality. Even in well set up sniper rifles, there's sufficient chance of variation due to breeze, foliage etc that all I've ever found with black BB's is going "Well, I have no idea where that went..."

I've seen and used black bbs mixed in with white ones but that was over 15 years ago and there have been tan and green heavy rounds for snipers available in the past. I don't remember seeing coloured bbs on sale recently though (not that I've been paying that much attention)

During yesterday’s game as I saw a stream of bbs heading towards and hid behind cover. It got me thinking about how during medium to longer distance engagements you can easily dodge a lot of shots because the bbs are pretty obvious and white. What about colours BBs to hide this? I know players mix tracers and normal but what about a mix of white and black/ brown BBs for usual play to hide some of your shots? I can’t see any good options for coloured BBs atm to test mix

Then the first thing you need to do is ask them what their rules on DMRs are. There's no point spending money building a gun if it turns out you can't use it. Fair enough about the SVD. I forgot there's spring versions -

Has anyone got a video of description of how to best remove the M14 stock? I hoped it was a couple of simple Allen bolts but it's not, there's some rough videos on YouTube but not very in-depth. I didn't think a stock removal would stump me🤣

Apologies for the duplicate ad, dropped the price to sell quick. Something else has been released so I’m selling off a few bits to get it, see my other ads too. Here’s a cool 417 package. Unskirimished, with the original packaging. I bought it used from surplusstore where it was traded in, apparently unskirmished before me. It did not come to me with iron sights, I have replaced them and will include. I have replaced the handguard with the shorter one from VFC for the assaulter look. It does have sone signs of “character” as the VFC finishes aren’t as nice as the Maruis. I will include the original parts to return it to its original design. I’ve also given it an A5 curved trigger guard because it looks better. Will include original too. All stock internals as far as I can see. I’ve not had any need to open up the gearbox or anything. I have taken the receivers apart and noticed that the small reinforcement tabs on the rear of the upper had sheered off and were still in the lower. However, this affects its performance or aesthetics in no way, the receivers still lick in together nicely as there’s still plenty of the main part of the tabs, (circled bits in the picture are all that’s missing) previous owner must’ve overloaded the original front end or something. new upper can be purchased here if it’s still an issue https://eagle6.co.uk/product/tokyo-marui-hk417-upper-receiver-for-hk417-next-generation-recoil-shock-series That as well as this still puts this at a great deal. Shoots very very nicely l, recoil is heaftier a than all the other Ngrs guns and it’s doing around 300fps out the box on a .2g bb. comes with 5 mid caps and a high cap magazine. Gotcha! So essentially I should go for AEG and maybe GBB if I want to try it with the Gas. will take a look on the cyma with v2.5 gearbox and some GBB as well… thank you -
