  2. Throughly recommend watching some Explosive Enterprises. https://youtube.com/@explosiveenterprises?si=aHgdMJkad3TSjO1C The channel features plenty of VFCs, as well as running Vipertechs on VFC magazines, and they typically test things until they break, fix it then test till something else breaks. The only TM stuff they currently have is the Saiga and Double Eagle clone, but still worth checking out.
  3. Seems I struck a nerve 🤣 And yes, I'm calling it as I saw it on the day and with these responses I'm definitely not retracting my statement. There were so many complaints on the Saturday and they were all about your group. If it was just me, I'd have made assumptions that I wasn't hitting, or I was just getting unlucky etc, but since there were numerous complaints, from all different people (on both the NVA and some on the US side), all about the same group, I was far more confident in my assessment. Your response just reinforces it. Funnily enough, the non-hit taking from your group that I observed was not from my rifle, but from my pistol up close. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, but with so many anecdotes on the day from so many different people, and now with your reaction, what am I supposed to think? Also, Eversley Alpha is a fantastic site to snipe at if you know where to play. The last Vietnam game I played there I had a field day in that valley, but the way it happened to be set up this time around made getting there significantly more difficult for the NVA side. The bog and the middle parts of the site are awful for sniping, and that is where we happened to be. If I knew how the game would flow, I would've just used my MWS, but funnily enough, you have to play the game to work out how it will flow. And if you'd actually read what I wrote, you'd have seen that I specifically said that "a group of shitty players" was exactly not the reason why I didn't enjoy myself and admitted that it was a mix of other factors without any blame but myself (and a little bit on the guy in my group who dropped out (for no real reason, and at the 11th hour) and left us short-handed for how we usually play)

  6. Reserve cleats for good ground - they aid grip on the right surface but can grip too well and turn an ankle (Ive seen people run, turn and left their foot grip in place trying to go in a different direction) For variable surfaces it must be something with good ankle support, chunky soles help but as Lyndication noted deep sloppy mud is sloppy mud In my tournament photography days I wore astro football boots for astro turf (chosen by a football mum and turned out perfect on good turf) For grass I would use dedicated paintball cleats (actually close to golf shoes) with a range of changeable studs - they included asto studs but I never fitted those as football mums know best These were great on the grass and mud but the studs stabbed into the soles of my feet on the gravel paths For anywhere else boots are the right answer * I would not have spent money on those cleats, but a copyright infringement when a manufacturer publishes an advertising campaign using an uncredited meme of your photo works wonders for copyright compensation 😉
  7. Yet he was condescending towards me and my group of lads? “speshul forces” just returning that energy to sender
  8. He called it as he saw it on the day; there was no need for you to be condescending.
  9. Neither is cheat calling, the chap obviously made a poor rifle choice and instead of conceding and asking to borrow/pay for a hire gun he blamed it on someone else? when we switched teams on the Sunday, one of the US commanders blew my wig off with a tri shot gas shotgun from 5m away at the wall, he could of hit me somewhere else but he didn’t and I laughed it off and gave him a well done because that’s on me for not protecting myself better, I haven’t took to a public forum to go whine about it, he knew people can full auto up close if he didn’t want to get hit in the head he should wear better protection but that’s just another day at Airsoft Airsoft is an honour sport and you should always play for the man down range I try to stick to that especially for games like this I was actively giving ideas to the opposite team so they could counter us better, I’d rather have a hard fought fight and than an easy one not that it was easy. I hope to see this chap at the next nam game and certainly hopes he has a better game with out the expense someone having a bad game
  10. Ok so far I'm really impressed by the new stock hop . Far more stable than the older VFC AR15 hops from the box
  11. I’ve got full working internals of one if that’s of any interest?
  12. There's one on there without the ceramic plates for 50 quid, not sure anyone wants the plates as they bloody heavy. Thanks for the reply mate. I might stick it in the trade section and see what happens. Love your user name. 😆
  13. Yes everyone else seemed to struggle the same, just trying not to naff up my wanky knees any more than they are already.Avoid hills it is.
  14. Oh man that gets worse the longer it goes on
  15. I’d be checking eBay for similar items dude if your struggling to ping a price on here with it (though some eBay sellers are EXPENSIVE) so use your finest judgment from there 😂
  16. Oh boy! Condescension is not a positive trait.

  19. There's not much that can help if it's just sloppy and muddy tbh. Good boots with ankle support are pretty essential. It's a long, long three legged race to the car if you fuck your ankle on most sites.

  23. something like this maybe? I used them on my boots in the snow. Fiver a pair
  24. After finding myself unable to scale some hills last week I decided to investigate footwear options. Does anybody use cleats or football/rugby boots? Can you share the good and/or bad points? I couldn't get up a few hills but also slid down 2 or 3 too boot ( not a pun).My normally superb boots let me down and as I lack the reflexes of a cat now chances are I'm going to land on my face or ass sooner rather than later. Should I opt for "different" footwear or avoid hills altogether, many players struggled BTW. TIA.
