(Sorry mods if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't sure if I should put it here or the feedback section.)

Do NOT buy from Flapjack. A couple of days ago I bought off of him an ICS M4 here is the picture of the gun I thought I was getting.)

Please note the Surefire flash hider. Which did not come with the gun.

The gun was sold to me as being serviced (Shimmed, AOE corrected, greased) and It was to arrive without the scope and a Magpul foregrip. As I don't have UKARA to prove that I am airsofter when It was being shipped, I asked him to paint it 51% blue which he did because of having to paint it he said that he could not accept returns and asked the money to be send via gift. I agreed, He then posted it out to me. It arrived today, here is the gun I actually got. (Sorry for being so pic heavy...)

· The Surefire flash hider is not on the barrel. Just a standard A2 birdcage

· The AoE has not be corrected like described I can tell by the second to last tooth on the piston still being in place and not removed.

· The trigger contacts are badly burned. (Hard to see from picture but easy IRL)

· The lower gearbox is swimming in grease. As well as the upper gearbox missing a screw.

· The upper and lower receivers are badly scratched. Which is not visible from the picture and was not described in the description.

· The butt pad is starting to fall apart on the stock being held on at the bottom by glue.

· The hop up spring is bent.

· The screws on the picatinny rail on the upper receiver are striped

Thank goodness I didn't trade my recoil shock with him then. Messaged me several times trying to trade my TM for an M4. Luckily I wasn't after an M4 otherwise we'd both be victims I think.

Agreed good thing you didnt...Am just pissed at myself that I sent him the money as a gift. Rather than just backing out. Anyway you think I could get it back?

Well I'm most likely wrong here, but isn't this fraud? Because technically speaking, fraud is an act of deception intended for personal gain or to cause a loss to another party. So if I am correct, you can take this further with the authorities. Best to message him saying you want a refund otherwise you'll take the matter further. He didn't describe the item as what it really is, and has essentially scammed you.

If I'm wrong please correct me. If I am right, message him to get a refund and if he refuses, take matters further.

First, that was a really scummy move on his end. HOWEVER, as stated in the rules, you should always be suspicious when someone asks for cash to be gifted.

I messaged him and no response I haven't heard anything from him. Last message was the 18th.

Right well he was online earlier today... Obviously just ignoring you as he knows he's just plain and simple ripped you off. I'd say get the moderators to try get him to talk. Once he's talking (if he does) try smoothing things out first before launching threats his way. If he refuses to deal with it then again, IF I was correct in saying that's fraud, get the authorities involved.

I will give him time to replay to my message. If he doesn't I will then ask the mods on my behalf. I will take it form there.

Can I also make a suggestion? Post this post, pictures included onto ZeroIn. He's just as active on there as he is on here. Best to let people know.

Doubt you'll get your money back as you gifted. That's how paypal make money, charging protection of both parties. When you gift it paypal makes no profit on that so you risk it all.

How much did it cost?

Know him?

Lets just say a R85 from Ireland didn't quite arrive in the condition I expected mainly down to packing - F*ck all

and I think he liked to buy up broken guns and "fix" - ahem

bits not quite intact and it locked with something rattling inside box - bargain

got a few quid knocked off but still a bad taste in my mouth

So yeah I feel ya pain as did a few others on here and though I said we need a min post count to sell

which stirred up a bin here briefly I think a few knew he was selling iffy guns to peeps not quite ukara'd yet

thus very little comeback

We kind of resolved it so I chose not to leave feedback, but a little later somebody else had more serious problems

I dunno how people can sell off stuff that is pi$$ poor - but plenty do in this world

(my own law is if it is crap - it is scrapped, just not worth hassle selling on crappy stuff)

Alas - not everybody has the same levels of integrity I guess

290...Even more pissed off as on the Zeroin Forums he updated it 6 days ago selling it for 240...

Finally found the original sale description. "Looking to sell my ICS M4. This is the full metal version. A Magpul MOE stock, and hand guard have been added and a Magpul MVG will be included. It has also had a Surefire Flash hider added, giving it a unique look.

The rifle is superb, perfect choice for any airsofter. It was recently serviced, shimmed, greased, AOE corrected etc, I've also replaced the hop up rubber.

ACOG sight is not included, a rear sight will be included in its place."

Didnt get the rear sight I might add.

YUP - f*cking carrier bags was my gun delivery

one end came off showing the front barrel but RM must have plopped it back on

well safe and good way to avoid suspicion ffs

yeah that sounds like same seller to me A++ & all that crap

wooo hoooo - my one thousand post - talking about dodgy sellers - just great

SOZ - but if this creates crap again - to hell with it.....

c'mon we need to put in place a min of say 250 posts or something

(one forum I was on different hobby, had to have a min 1k posts to sell on PS3Hax Forum)

There was times some peeps have come on to sell but have been able to prove/supply good ebay feedback

Otherwise - well you can guess the possible results

Yes it is buyer's responsibility to check blah blah blah...but

if no min requirements - even a few basic ones like even 100 posts ffs

this will show they are on here and may be able to contact them to resolve issues

Otherwise this forum is washing it hands and "could" be seen to turn a blind eye to it

Buyers responsibility & all that - yeah but ffs at least make it a little more difficult for some sellers

Soz mods - not having a go but think perhaps we need to have a vote/poll on this and go with results

let majority decide if a min post count might help

Anyone not of that level can either provide valid reference or something

Or we can just let anybody join up and sell bodged up pieces of crap not fitting to the description

Yeah what a great 1,00th post ffs

soz if any of this offends but feel I had to say it
