I am currently searching for a solid and reliable Light & Laser combo to put on a rifle. I am getting into Airsoft right now and thought this is the best place to ask for some recommendations. If you can give me some, please let me know! Thank you in advance.

Depends what you really mean by "good" - I've been pretty lucky with relatively cheap light/laser combos off amazon and such. On my GBBR (TM MWS) I'm running a PEQ-15 knockoff (The brand was DoxiSN but the product page on amazon doesn't exist anymore). The IR laser is functional, and the light and visible laser aren't gonna win any awards but they work. I haven't had a chance to skirmish with it and be too harsh on it, but it's been ok keeping zero under recoil and such for like a year on the MWS. I say cheap, it was still like £50...

I guesswhat I'm trying to say, is sometimes the knockoffs seem alright for airsoft purposes at least 😅

Peq-15 and a Surefire m600 is the most common, Wadsn do a decent replica of both on Aliexpress for £90 I believe? Lasers aren't permitted at sites though (AFAIK) so keep in mind it would just be a prop. If you want best of the best, Sotac torch and Somo peq-15 but then you're looking at the cost of another replica lol

Before buying anything make sure you check your site's rules on lasers. Some have restrictions on what people can use.

Tbh I don't think lasers are really that useful in airsoft anyway

I have many, and have successfully used them zero times.

Lights, on the other hand, are very useful. Every time i've used one, someone on the other team has shot me. A 100% success rate.

Also, it seems to me that red lasers are only good for indoor CQB/night games, and green lasers are only good for outdoor day games.

I have an ally NGAL on my 416, which is really nice despite being really for decoration.

My SD has a Surefire clone on it.

I think this is worth mentioning when it comes up; what @Anonymoose said I would very much echo. I can recall seeing a laser used once ever at a game, which was at a woodland site and it just perfectly highlighted where the person trying to shoot me was crouching. They can potentially have some utility in IR form if you have proper night vision to see it and play a game where that combo is allowed/relevant, but we're getting in to small niches at that point. Obviously if someone wants to deck out their shooter with a PEQ or whatever for looks then go for it, they are important devices for the real firearms we're replicating, but airsoft utility is slim to none.

A simple white light that's got an ergonomic momentary activation switch can be useful very often (again depending where you play) and apart from anything is great for.. you know just seeing where the heck you're walking and not tripping over and breaking yourself. I'd wager the most common airsoft injuries beyond little bb welts are probably the results of trips, slips, falls, collisions etc.

I'm curious, after a couple of incidents with lasers getting shone in people's eyes, a lot of our local sites here have banned them. You need to take the battery out or cover up the emitter if you're running one.

Is that just a local thing? Personally I barely trust the average Airsofter with a pointy stick, nevermind an Ali Express laser made with poor quality control that places it somewhere between Doesn't Work and Star Wars Blaster.

In my experience, no site or milsim event will allow green lasers or blue. Red lasers only for vis. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used my Vis laser in a game. Unless you have it in a peq unit with ir laser & illuminator, it's basically unnecessary weight/just for looks.

IR lasers on low power are generally allowed for night games/milsims except for sites like Ironsight (day dependent on military aircraft activity) or SCCQB. Though I would say only a small percentage of people have peqs that are actually capable of running on low power...

I kit some of my RIFs with a laser purely for looks but I don't use it simply for the concern of accidentally catching someone in the eyes. I might be careful with my aim but people can inadvertently move into my line of sight.

Most of the sites I've played at have a rule of aiming down the sights (i.e. no shooting from the hip unless you're using something like a minigun but that's a niche itself) so whether you've got irons or a red (or green) dot/reticle, lasers are largely redundant.

I use one of these WASDN X400 pistol lights which as well as mounting on the pistol can be mounted on a short piece of 20mm rail either in front of the fore grip or on the side of the hand guard so I can put my thumb on the activate button. It can run with light/strobe light and laser in any combination.

I haven’t used it in woodland games as my local sights have either a no laser or shouldered looking through the sights before firing and are super tough on blind firing so I don’t really see any benefit to running it.

I have used it used it for indoor CQB, it was most effective in strobe with laser combo to disorientate while giving me a dot on target with either the pistol or MP5K.

Looking at getting a silly bright torch for outdoor games as someone at the local site runs one and it can be very disorientating.

I've had enough incidents of teammates walking in front of me while I'm sighted in and taking my shot at point blank that yeah I just know it's a matter of time before I laze someone. 😂
