M60 VN where have they gone?

I've put getting an A&k M60 VN on the back burner for about 8 years now, but still in nearly all that time you rarely see them in stock anywhere in the UK. 

 

What's happened to all the stock? Have they been discontinued?

I found mine second hand and had to fix it up so keep looking at the sales sections here and elsewhere...

Airsoft Manufactures are generally small companies with limited production capacity. The will build a batch of one type of gun they cycle through their other products. you can still get VNs out side of the UK.

Apologies. I was knackered when I posted that. Funny enough I skipped over a bunch of the MK43's on other sites because I knew they weren't VN's.

thanks for the replies. i may have to cast my net across seas to get one by looks of it. hardly a small thing to ship though ?

 

id love to see an airsoft M16 LMG come out, or even a conversion kit to get that boxy handguard look

Lol, easily done looking quickly.

Ares are a lot more expensive like the LCT ones.

That link I posted is £404 WITH delivery.  I don't think you'll find one cheaper than that...

From San Marino the Ares is 406 quid without shipping. Shipping is usually around 20 quid from there. Softairgames has one and they have never let me down. Probably worth the extra money for the Ares? You wont be paying VAT or import charges either.

That is a good price for an Ares but I don't see it in stock

the ares is the wrong model. i want the unwieldly near on unskirmishable hunk of the VN ?

 

so will most likely go A&K but ill definitley look into the sites given as both look good alternatives

Yep, same for me, had to be VN original

It does weigh a lot so hard work. (I haven't done a full day with it ?)

 

I doubt you'll find one cheaper than £400 new as above.

Otherwise keep looking for second hand or boneyard.
