Bofa430 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I'm aware that you can't paint a two tone black, but can I paint it another bright colour like red, blue, green or orange? Could I also use more than one colour?
Bofa430 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Posted February 14, 2018 so i can paint it another bright colour but just not black? Does the two have to be solid or could i do paint it camo using the green patrole base uses (emerald green) for over 50% of it edit: http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-ak-variants/cyma-cm-045c-aks-74u-tactical-two-tone-green.htm#.WoRwvqhl9hE this kind of green
Supporters SeniorSpaz87 Posted February 14, 2018 Supporters Posted February 14, 2018 As long at the total gun is 50+% brightly colored noone will care. Make it look like its something from COD. Paint the bottom half pink. Do stripes. Doesn't matter, as long as 50+% is bright
Airsoft_Mr B Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I think there is a breakdown in a clause of the VCR Act it specifies bright orange, bright blue etc. But basically yes as everyone else has said it just has to be 50% brightly coloured. Technically it should also be solid yes
Tommikka Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 The approved colours are listed in this thread:

Not solid, not 50% / 51%. Pedantically, if I painted a gun 33% black, 33% grey and 34% bright pink, what would the principal colour be?
