two_zero Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 hi guys looking for googles for use over my specs, reasonably priced. wondered if anyone had any recomendations? not huge specs 3.5cm high. thx I mostly use DIY store type goggles. the main issue generally will be the width of your glasses. on some of those military type ones that look like ski goggles I cut out some of the rubberlining so that they would fit
Mr Monkey Nuts Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Contact lenses really are the best option. Tesco do a trial for £15 with free eye test. If you want daily disposable lenses they can actually work out quite cheap in comparison to expensive spec compatible eye pro.
Sacarathe Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 There is always the fencing style masks too.
Supporters jcheeseright Posted February 5, 2016 Supporters Posted February 5, 2016 contact lenses were the solution I went with initially, work perfectly for one day games. If you're going to do weekend games etc though I recommend getting some prescription inserts for a pair of goggles, expensive (ish, about £65) but well worth it.
two_zero Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Been considering contact lenses.. but NAAAH!! thou a beater pair glasses may be to recommend
