Jellybaby
Hi guys just wondering if the Ultimate Upgrade barrels from LandWarriorairsoft are good? If not, is there a TBB anyone can recommend to me for a G&G CM16? Cheers
Supporters M_P Posted November 9, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 9, 2013 Just go madbull- pretty much the best for the money.
Jellybaby
Ok cheers. Instead of a new thread, does anyone know what silencer/ suppressor fits the CM16?
Supporters M_P Posted November 9, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 9, 2013 Anything 14mm negative will probably fit.
Jellybaby
thanks again, are there anymore upgrades that i should do?
TacMaster
If you're looking for a longer range buying and installing an new hop unit, nub and rubber would be the way forward.
Supporters sp00n Posted November 9, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 9, 2013 If your cm16 is fairly new you should already have a 6.03 tight bore barrel as standard
Jellybaby
I havnt bought it yet sp00n but was just planning ahead, guess i should just buy it first and see what needs changing
Supporters sp00n Posted November 9, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 9, 2013 Haha my advice would be to leave it as is, I have not opened (or even field stripped) my cm16 raider L, and I have had mine since may
AK47frizzle
If your cm16 is fairly new you should already have a 6.03 tight bore barrel as standard I'm pretty sure they don't....... otherwise they'd up the prices... A clear plastic one goes for just under £100... I don't think a TBB will be in that...

Supporters M_P Posted November 9, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 9, 2013 Yeah the cm's would have the budget internals i'd have thought- probably someone got mixed up- it's only recently that the top techs all got them. Either way, i'd imagine the madbull would be an upgrade so worth the money.

Jellybaby
So do you guys think its a good idea to buy a Madbull TBB barrel at the same time i buy the gun?
Supporters Lozart Posted November 10, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 10, 2013 Why not try the gun out first and see if it needs a TBB at all?
Jellybaby
True, was just thinking of buying it all at the same time.
AK47frizzle
well, if i were you, i'd buy the tbb with your gun, saves time.
TacMaster
He could just buy the gun, see how it performs and then add the TBB if it's not great? If it's fine without it (or by some fluke there's one installed in it) it'd be a waste of cash to do the above.
Supporters sp00n Posted November 23, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 23, 2013 I stand corrected. I have just measured Mike1971's CM16 Raider L's barrel, It measures 6.08mm. so i guess mine is the same that said i have no issues with groupings, range or accuracy, and have no intention of changing it in the near future

Supporters jcheeseright Posted November 25, 2013 Supporters Share Posted November 25, 2013 indeed, I'm a firm believer in the maxim of "if it aint broke, don't fix it". The internet has a lot of things to answer for regarding airsoft, one of the most significant for me is that new players seem to feel that they MUST upgrade their guns to be able to compete, which is bullshit.
