Sam_G
Yeah the gormless looking bloke in the safe zone pic. quite an easy look to pull off is just tan and brown and worn down. bit like my SR-16 any excuse to post it
Mike636
That is happening, is it the lighter color first, then darker sprayed through netting?

Thanks a lot, I think some more DPM and tan would make it more so but not really aiming for that Theres better pics of the kit in the loadout pics thread. I'm also a big fan of the paint job on your C 8, any pointers? As Marcus said its not mine (although I wish it was ) I borrowed it as my box mag broke, but we did talk about it during the day and basically the only way to get that good natural wear is through use, artificially worn stuff is okay to start but don't do too much otherwise it may not wear in the right places and let it wear gradually game after game

Supporters Ian_Gere Posted July 5, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 5, 2013 You know what that beard and loadout need, Moose? A fcuk off machete in a custom scabbard - one of those two foot jobs and wrap a lace around the grip, put some bones on a tassle when you tie it to make a wrist loop... Moose87
that would be mega yer! i was thinking a tomahawk but dunno if thats cheesy or not. a decent custom weapon would be nice tho yer.
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted July 5, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 5, 2013 Tomahawk... not bad, but maybe not right for the DPM? Still, Cold Steel do an axe that could be modded into one with a bit of filing. I forget the name now, but there's a seller on fleabay does a sort of pirate stylee plastic blade that could but filed into a machete. Not one of those hollow P'sOS, a plastic casting. I dunno how bendy it is though. Unless you wanted to make it yourself, your only other option is a theatrical props maker. Or you could just get a real one and promise not to take it out of the scabbard in the field

Moose87
yer i seen a couple like that, i would prefer one that looks bit more realistic tho, they all just seem to be black. im talking native american tomahawks with feathers and bones hanging from the handle lol

It doesn't take paint very well either, especially if it's going to bend. I spose you could paint it with coloured liquid latex. So long as you cleaned it with solvent to make sure it was totally free from grease 1st, that ought to stick. After that it's up to you to put thongs with all the gubbins on it. Before you laugh your bollocks off, you could do something with the blade from this.
Moose87
might have to have one made i think lo,l kaza's are close to what im looking for but i dont think you could really use them. be funny to get tomahawked in a game tho.
Sam_G
Few pics from last night evening game at IronSight Finally got to try out all my new kit. Very comfortable but did sweat a little with the PACA armour on. proof i do run............sometimes room clearing right handed shooting me being sneaky...........200 yard advance to get right to their position.........there was carnage and lots of girly screaming as i came round the corner firing! EPIC pic ruined by my stupid face!
Supporters jcheeseright Posted July 19, 2013 Supporters Share Posted July 19, 2013 Loving the new look, not so sure on the utility of the PACA, certainly in this weather but it does complete the look I suppose. Where did you get the cap btw? The ace of spades logo looks great!
