Finally got a job! It's only crappy warehouse work, and it's only for 13 weeks, but it ought to at least get me out of my overdraft, buy me that WE M4 I've been hampering after for ages, and also get me back out to some games at last!

Good day yesterday at Tac-house spartan...even if I did catch 2 players cheating on my gopro multiple times! Anf of course....my camera wasn't switched on during the game wher I got an epic kill streak! Fuming!

Quite glad that the kit I started building in June is finally coming together, basic red sqn kit should be done in the next month or so, then the addition of a LBT chest rig and slick PC by Christmas, and also getting all the parts I need for a MOD1 build at Christmas, don't expect that anyone is interested haha.

Went to the hospital today for follow up xrays on my hip and knee after the injury at AI, my knee is getting worse
which means no more airsoft indefinitely until the voodoo doctors can work out why.. -
day 3 in the gym - 45mins / 35 cardio / 10 on a crunch machine - had to cut short to go to hospital appt / feels better today even tho i hurt

first the L85 then the 416, reliability like that had never been dreamed of! I ammo argument will go on and on, but for comparison, it isn't always calibre, just look at the M193 (US, Vietnam era, used by British forces in the Falklands and NI) compared to the SS109 (Belgium and now NATO standard), both 5.56mm, but very different effects on target.

In terms of accuracy, with its longer barrel, (518mm compared to 370mm) the SA80 is far more accurate and powerful, its a simple matter of physics. In terms of reliability, the SA80 wins again. It's main drawback is that it is right handed only, however the Army now teaches the neat transition trick, as seen in this vid:
