  1. gotta be jbbg springer piece of crap, although my mate sparked my love for airsoft when he lent me his hfc glock 17.
  2. would like to say 14 actually nearly fifteen, if that changes anything. Basically combination of doing lots of jobs, I try and do the washing up every day in the month, mow the lawn 4 times, hoover the house 10 times at least and some other jobs for pocket money. Also, I have saved up and bought stuff for a good retail value, and made a couple of hundreds from selling virtual gold. Generally used to ask for money for my birthday, if I was lucky I would get £100 from 5 people (thats 100 quid altogether, not 500 ). Pretty much, I am obsessed by money... which helps me to get but then helps me to lose it...
  3. yep, starting to think its a NO GO kind of thing now
  4. on a PTW?!?! WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY?? crap jokes aside, acutally a really good idea
  5. well I don't know insurance so put down $20. Put everything down and got to £550. that figure seems to be lying, how much do your reckon the insurance for these things are. (betting its money based )
  6. i was worried it wasn't a straight up %25. thanks for the help and the link and warning me!
  7. well there you go, that idea went to sh*t pretty quickly.... how much would the insurance and brokerage fees be? thanks for pointing that out. I would be paying roughly £540 (using vatcalculator.com) I understand about life though something is bound to happen.
  8. may i ask how I am wrong? IK it will probably be a bit more expensive... was it the maths? lol
  9. ^^ yep hes right don't bother asking the question welcome to the forums
  10. $670 for gun. $100 for reg. $30 for some other shit. so thats $800. however, on evike they have %20 coupon codes etc, saving 160 bucks so $640 + say $80 postage 720 bucks. that = around £430 which then + %25 = around 540. then + £70 for a tank = 610 + some other shit like bbs = £650.
  11. nope. I am importing a G&P with fusion engine. It will be a bit cheaper actually.
  12. hey and welcome to the forums. I have never heard of the site, where about is it based?
  13. yep of course, will be 3 months before i get the money anyway, I am taking everything into account.
  14. so you would need to get this connector http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/380952241440?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108 to charge with...
  15. im angry because I found out that I will be spending more towards the £800 mark than the £600 for a P*
  16. if he doesn't get back open a paypal dispute. Send the link to paypal in the dispute and possibly take pictures. I have dealt with a few scammers in the past (though not airsoft) and paypal is on the buyers side if you can provide evidence.
  17. I need to find an xt60 to mini tamiya for charging my LiPo, sick and tired of using dangerous crocodile clips. I bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XT60-Female-To-Mini-Tamiya-Male-Charge-Battery-Lead-Adapter-Airsoft-Drone-/161253091245?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item258b6ee7ad my problem with it is when I connect the xt60 to the plugs for my charger all goes well however when I connect it to my battery, the only way it will go in is with the black where the red should be if that makes any sense. Its probably something really stupid however obviously I can't charge like that, and the mini tamiya seems to be the same way round with the picture. What is wrong?
  18. I am a cyclist, however mainly offroad. I live in surrey and there are a few places I cycle to E.G to my mates with my airsoft gun in a rucksack (its two tone and not visible). everytime I cycle some driver in their v8 land cruiser with 5 chins decides it would be a good idea to accelerate towards me, totally logical. bearing in mind we have many narrow roads I am forced to jump off my bike into the fecking hedge. And also all the shite drivers who overtake at the narrowist point then blare their horns. fecking idiots shouldn't even be driving. I take your point about the roads etc oh and btw did you watch danny do any of his stunts (he has real talent!)
  19. yeah there has been talk of the mags "derping" with the first 35 falling out of the barrel. Personally you could take the mag apart, which is what I would do, but you should probably buy some different mags. PMAGS or MAG mags (according to jay). Defininetely use .25s+, im going to start running .30s when i get my G&P The wind will of course greatly effect .20s however .28s are much more reliable in terms of wind and accuracy. As for the OP, if it was me I would talk to NH shooter (i know hes posted here and you probably already have) and maybe get him to have a look of you don't think it is air seal or the hop up.
  20. http://www.componentshop.co.uk/accucel-6-digital-charger-3285.html here try that. he is talking about the xt60:http://www.componentshop.co.uk/xt60-charger-adapter-lead.html that is for mini tamiya. basically the charger comes with crocodile clips and no adapter leads
  21. ^^ yeah I use the crocodile clips will need to change that at some point. that doesnt come with the power supply but this does. http://www.componentshop.co.uk/accucel-6-digital-charger-3285.html i bought without power supply because I already had one, however it isn't standard laptop charger connector see be careful. that 11.1 looks good, however will need some space for 3 cells, but if you have it then it will be fine. IK you installed a mosfet so you should be good to go. I have a 7.4 2600mah and it lasts for 10k+ shots, never needed to charge for more than 30 mins
  22. so basically I found a way of retracting bids (you all probably know how to do it) and I decided to bid on a lamborghini and then take a screenshot. oh yeah, then edited on photobucket for 5 mins to see what I could do
  23. I don't really understand what you mean. Basically you can get deans wired tamiya or mini tamiya there is no such thing as lipo wired. I am guessing it is mini tamiya as they are most common, but for example on component shop you can choose what connector you want. So i am guessing you mean this. Different guns get wired differently, and they are easy to change. Deans has less resistance so they are recommended but it won't really affect beginners that much, I haven't been bothered to change over yet EXAMPLE: G&G combat machine is fitted as standard with mini tamiya G&P m249 is fitted as standard with deans (if I remember correctly) hope this helps EDIT: by the way you have to have a LiPo smart charger to charge LiPos. If you want I can recommend a few with links. you can buy the IMAX b6, however I have the turnigy accucel 6 digital http://www.componentshop.co.uk/accucel-6-digital-charger-3285.html and you probably have a crane stock so need a nunchuk battery. I bought a 2600mah 7.4v LiPo (wouldn't recommend 11.1 without mosfet etc) however it is out of stock on that website but there are plenty of others. LiPos will set you back a bit of money short term but they are much better in terms of size, lifespan, power etc.
  24. yeah you put the lipo in, i believe it is fire resistant just in case.
