Huh, Luke at Negative was just ranting about a "flat hop" that had been done by removing the mound, but not the ridge, leaving the rubber oriented the normal way with the rough patch from the mound removal pressing on the BB.
 
The absolute cluelessness and/or laziness of some "professional" techs is astonishing, and why I agree with @Adolf Hamster that (as with cars and bikes and appliances) I'd rather mess things up myself than pay some workshop monkey to do it.
 
Any reason that you're protecting the gibbons that wrecked your SR25?  We can't avoid them if we don't know who they are.

@matas17 generally you pay VAT 20% plus import duty which is 3-5% depending on what customs classify the item as, some say toy, some sporting goods.  You pay tax and duty on the shipping fee as well.  Then you also pay a courier handling charge which is anything from £8 to £15.

Yes, I bought an SHS M100 a couple of years back from some cowboy outfit, M42AK, or similar, and ended up getting 1.3J (humblebrag) out of a stock CYMA piston, 3/4 cylinder and a 229mm 6.02 ZCI barrel.  Ouch.
 
Mind you, a Kyou M90 spring dropped it to 1.1J, which is about what I'd expect, so I'm not sure of the SHS was that much over, or if it was just my awesome, accidental air-sealing skills that did it.

I can confirm, SHS aren't what they say on the packet 🙂, but it has changed over the years.  I've even had some which were 1.3mm and some which were 1.4mm thick, which is a massive difference.  Part of the reason why I gave up and now get all my own springs made in se asia

Luckily I had this unnamed spring that dropped the power down to 0.91/0.92J

Oh wow, not come across anything like that being rejected on the Chinese side before.  I was speaking to a Chinese guy who runs an airsoft store on Aliexpress couple of months ago, he said he was stopping selling anything like stocks, suppressors etc due to the problems getting them past Chinese customs.  Looks like it's starting to filter down to single orders.  

I'm super impressed, I was wondering if the floor had rubber chips on it.  I've been following these guys on their FB page.  Need more sites like this.

@ak2m4 chatting with them it was a horse dressage practise barn. The flooring is completely dirt with rubber over it. All structures are mostly pallet and canvas, they have truly done an amazing job. So glad it's so local to me.

I've posted about this scam already a while ago.
essentially what happens is that the buyer sends you a fake screenshot from PP in which a code is required to complete the payment, at the same time you get a legit PP SMS with a security code.
If one is dumb enough to give that code to the buyer, he gets locked out of his account because said code is used to verify your identity when changing passwords
Unfortunately the average Italian IQ seems to be close to absolute zero because I see at least 2/3 people each day who have been scammed like that.

I just installed the new compression parts (101% seal now), assembled the gun with the silicone MR and the chrono readings were the following (hop all the way off):
325, 300, 240, 170, 90, jam. Didn't test full auto for obvious reasons.
 
Good ol' rubber 50° MR in, constant 315 without hop, constant 325 with hop applied.
No power drops in full auto.

rubber seems harder to damage.  Every AEG also gives differing results (where have I heard that before). 

@Sitting Duck wow, I was in same boat re lights.  Those 12v transformers are nothing but a pain in the arse.  Got 4 in the kitchen and either the bulbs go or the transformers go.  Just purchased 4x mains LED, arrived yesterday, now just go to fit them.

I'm off up the wooden hill soon. And thats difficult cause I live in a bungalow!🤭
