  1. Starting the last phase.

Both guns have problems with their Semi Auto. In that the ydon't have any.

I have had the gearboxes apart again and identified the problem.

Both have some wear in the trigger switches and cut off levers.

On the side of the switch 'shuttle' is a protrusin that the cut off lever engages with to lift the shuttle and pop it over the top of the trigger. This allows the spring to pull the switch contacts open cuttin of the circuit and giving semi auto.

I am replacing the cut off levera and switches. This will cure the problem.

  2. I use 860 ma Lipo batteries. they fit into the stock tube on my gun.

    I swap over at lunchtime.

I don't think you will damage one by using it till the gun stops firing as long as you don't try to 'force it' they will stop working before thr voltage gets low enough to do any damage in my experience.

  3. the mah rating tells you how long the battery will last (more or less) The bigger the number the longer it will power your gun.

I use fairly small batteries that fit into the stock tube of my M4 they are 840mah. On full charge one will last me all day but I have a spare with me just in case.

My sone uses a 1400mah in his foregrip and never worries about losing power.

Check out your local RC shop for batteries. When you add in postage mail order ones aren't so cheap. They can't send them by post they have to come courier.

  4. From discussion on the site Facebook they are saying it is because of Child Protection Law.

There seems to be a kickback from site regulars. One guy just got himself a pair of Gopro cameras to film and is not very happy. Same with some others.

Looks like they are working on a compromise.

  5. There are vids from Milsims on line that were made on MOD sites.

At the site I am referring to in the OP they post their own pics online but they are usualy terrible, out of focus or through the window of the Marshall's Land Rover.
