OWNERSHIP OF A RIF IS NOT REGULATED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.

    .

Neither is buying. it is Selling that is the offence.

Although there is nothing to stop someone giving you a RIF.

there is also nothing to stop you later paying them for that other thing they did for you.

The air display above Sonisphere will feature nine aircraft, all exact replicas of planes used in combat in World War One.

Bruce Dickinson, a trained transport airline pilot, will be flying his own Fokker Dr1 Triplane, the same model used by German flying ace Manfred von Richthofen, or The Red Baron.

There will also be a German Junkers CL1.

The British planes will be a Sopwith Triplane, a BE2c and an SE5a and will be flown by members of The Great War Display Team, who perform re-enactments throughout the UK and Europe.

Bruce Dickinson said: "The air show over Sonisphere is something I'm really excited about and we're determined to put on an unforgettable display for everyone.

"We're planning an extravaganza of derring-do, especially when you consider the manoeuvres we'll be performing are all based on true-life battles from a hundred years ago.

"What some of these fighter pilots achieved back then was nothing short of miraculous given the conditions they were working under and the seriousness of what was at stake.

"We hope to stage a memorable display which is equally entertaining and poignant, celebrating not only the bravery and heroics of all the pilots involved but remembering the sacrifices made on both sides."

  3. yeah, I have selfish uncles. he is absolutely loaded, 4 mansions etc and nice cars. Anyway, when my dad lost his job, and he was struggling to pay for school, my uncle (call him james not his name), james allowed us to stay at his chalet. This is a 15 bedroom skiing chalet and they don't come cheap. The rent would normally be £2000 or something a week, but we apparently got the "family deal" (free) Anway, after that, we come back to find out his bonus wasn't as big as he was hoping, still xmillion quid however, so he decides to take it out on my family and next thing you know we are having to pay up or he will "take us to court". It has been sorted but seriously, how sad can it get??

Take you to court for what? Did he get anything in writing that mentions a fee or payment?

Should have told him to go and blow.

  4. No they don't there are no pistols.

    From the Prohibitions.
'Any firearm which either has a barrel less than 30 centimetres in length or is less than
60 centimetres in length overall, other than an air weapon, a muzzle-loading gun or a

    firearm designed as signaling apparatus'

  5. sounds very unlikely you would be able to do it. but £40? or the retail of the ammo? provided you had full auto weapons.

I heard people can own pistols that are kept at shooting clubs. I can't confirm this however.

you're allowed to own firearms for defensive purposes in NI??

You can't own a pistol wherever it is kept.

  6. My kit has evolved over time. It has lost a lot of stuff that, while giving an impression of a 'real' loadout just added weight and bulk.

I now usualy wear DPM trousers with knee pads over, an MTP UBACS shirt, Molle Vest with just the pouches I need (which varies from skirmish to skirmish) and a Camelback . British Army Assault Boots, (had them for ages, they are worn in perfectly), hard knuckle gloves and a Boonie Hat.

  7. In a previous life I used to service electro-mechanical equipment. Lots of bearings, shafts, motors and relays.

I am also keen on Model Railway locomotive kits. This also involves lots of small shafts, bearing, contacts and electric motors.

I also repair and service clocks and watches.

With any lubrication 'less is more' .don't smear on masses of grease or drown a bearing in oil. It will only attract dirt and with time it will increase in viscosity and will gum up the works.

Before applying new lubrication remove the old stuff first.
