  1. Anyone tried the asg brand?
  2. Or ASG brand?
  3. Have anyone used MAG mid caps? The seem reasonably priced but are they reliable?
  4. They both went out the T&Cs when he bought something but gifted the cash.
  5. Doubt it'll work. Clearly states by paypal they can't protect your money when you gift it.
  6. Gutted for you., that's a lot of cash to lose. definitely don't gift anything more than £20 unless it actually is a gift. Some people are really shitty..
  7. Doubt you'll get your money back as you gifted. That's how paypal make money, charging protection of both parties. When you gift it paypal makes no profit on that so you risk it all. How much did it cost?
  8. I might have a look around work tomorrow and see if I can find a series of small fans. Fingers crossed!
  9. Looks a bit Neanderthal but if it works go for it. I play in a bunker where it's dark. I find it hard to see through mesh in the darker places.
  10. I could look at mounting a fan on it. How loud is yours?
  11. I want to get into milsim, I doubt they'd allow a fencing mask! I know what you mean though, a friend of mine uses one and wouldn't be without.
  12. The gap above my nose is about a quarter of the size it was originally was. I think with more time I could get it 100% filled but I'll see how it goes with fogging up first.
  13. I don't rate cat crap at all. I use washing up liquid, works a lot better.
  14. Just finished it, but thanks anyway
  15. Yea but it's all too wide to fit in the gap of the goggles.
  16. Have you ever tried it like this? I'm just trying to shape the mask now, see if it covers my nose a bit more.
  17. Most of you probably don't know that my head gear consists of helmet, glasses and lower mesh face mask. I've been using this for over a year now. There's a couple of problems I've encountered since playing this way: -mesh mask feels like it's pushing my face through a siv -loads of straps -Glasses constantly fog up -The small gaps between glasses and mesh/helmet seem to be a BB magnet To over come some of these problems I padded out the mesh mask and connected the mask directly to the helmet to get rid of the straps. This made made a huge different in comfort. The last couple of weeks I've been noticing every head shot I take always seems to get me either in the forehead between my glasses and helmet or between my glasses and mask. Trawling through youtube I seen a setup where the guy cut off the masks straps completly and used a balaclava or a thin buff type bandana to hold the mask into place. I've acquired some goggles and tried it and it completely covers my face now and it so much more comfy. I'm just wondering if anybody else has tried this? My worry is the bandana will hold in too much heat and it'll be like I'm playing in a constant down pour of sweat! I'm just after some opinions before I remould the mask and cut off the straps. As you can see I took a BB right between the eyes last week
  18. They became your everyday shoes? I wouldn't be allowed out the house in them!
  19. Where in Hampshire?
  20. I understand that but you can say that about any shop in any industry. That's the world we live in today, people like to browse regardless if they want to buy something or not. Most shops I've been into have never been too full where the staff can't just ask a customer if they needed help with anything. I know if it were my staff looking after my shop I'd be pushing them to make the most out of every potential customer.
  21. I find this my biggest gripe about going into airsoft shops. when I first started airsoft I took my gun into Zero one and I had noob written all over me. I wondered in there with a TM MP5 and a handful of cash and said I wanted the FPS as high as they could get it. Instead of talking me through the process I was told it's a TM so they're fine standard and just to leave it. Another customer walked in after that and the guy behind the counter just ignored me. I've tried Combat south a few times too. While I bought my pistol from there I found the whole shop to be awkward. The staff were friendly but just didn't seem interested in what I want to buy and more interested in their mates who seem to be in there everytime I go in. Maybe it's me, I don't know. Accessories I'll buy overseas but with guns I can't be bothered messing with customs so I'll pay the bit extra in the UK.
  22. You can buy go-pro clones off ebay if all you want to use it for is airsoft. They're about £35, so no bother is it breaks.
  23. I moved to the uk from Canada with no GCSE's. After doing a year in college and failing AS levels I landed an apprentiship in crane engineering. Really I should of had a few GCSEs to get it but it goes to show grades aren't everything. I'm now 25 and work on the docks making £45k+
  24. It's a bit of everything that shed. It's my airsoft storage, the Mrs. Sewing/craft storage, garden tool and it's also used as a back fence in the garden.
  25. Finally got to chance to use it!
