  1. Does the trigger spring back after letting go or does that stick too?
  2. Dear oh dear, he's in way over his head here..
  3. i got the CQB version. It was good out the box, just needed a slight upgrade for better ROF for me.
  4. Not directly compressing the primer though.
  5. Could also mean I have a disaster waiting to happen! My new 7.4V arrived this morning with a freepost to send the old battery back. As someone said, It feels wrong sending it back as what if this thing ignites in the back of a lorry en route? It smells toxic.
  6. I've tried making a PEZ dispenser type of thing. The problem with it is in order for them to dispense you need a spring to push then up. I don't like the idea of having that pressure pushing on a row of primers. I like the look of hudsons tube but they will still rattle about when you use them. I might try fix up something like a dispense but with the spring pulling down instead of pushing up.
  7. I've been using that tube for over a year now. I usually have it half full which is roughly 50-60 blanks at a time. I've changed my load out now and no longer use an mp5 so the tube is just loose in a zip up pouch. It rattles around and I haven't had a problem yet, so don't worry about it. As someone else said, you have to hit in the right place pretty hard for it to go off. After the mp5 set up I stuck it in pistol mag pouch. One time I didn't put the cap back on right, bend over dropped about 30 blanks. I was playing in ucap bunker where it was pitch black, I couldn't see a thing. That's why I decided with a zip up pouch, if it happened again they'd only go in the pouch.
  8. I hope so, I'll be after a few more batteries..
  9. I recently bought an 11.1v lipo battery and charger from component shop. After trying the battery in my gun I soon realised I needed to change it to a 7.4v. I phoned them up and explained this and they said it's fine just send the battery back and they will do a straight swap with a 7.4v. Easy enough. Today I've come home from to find a package in the post. Open it to see the invoice from component shop showing a 7.4v lipo and the price break down - £16ish, about the same as the 11.1v I think. I opened the container for the battery to find another 11.1v battery. Worst of all one of the cells is puffed up. I've sent them pictures tonight and explaining what's happened but it means me posting this battery back for a refund. I take full responsibility for the first time I sent it back but surely I shouldn't have to pay post for this? Last time it cost me just under £5. I'll wait for their reply keep this updated.
  10. I've tried finding their Facebook page but no luck. Any chance you could give me the link?
  11. Irontsights haven't updated their dates in awhile.
  12. Ucap bunker is brilliant, remember to bring a torch!

Up to you mate, I prefer not wearing lower mesh but start feeling a bit uncomfortable doing so in shorter range firefights. You will certainly feel it when you get hit in the overgrown parts of the site.

Personally I wouldn't chance it, i'd also recommend getting there early for a decent parking spot.

I'll bring it anyway, really not a fan of the dentist!

  14. I just watched one and you got your camera stuck in some netting...
  15. I play indoor CQB and without a flash light I'd be lost. It's good to stay in the dark and be quiet but sometimes it's completely dark, you need a little light. Wood lands you wouldn't need it.
  16. I've always had one on mine. Not much different to holding onto the foregrip really but you can attach a flash light pad to it easier.
  17. Haha no, they've only been playing for about 2 months and went straight to lipos. I did look at LiFe's. I read they're supposed to be just as good as LiPo but don't run any risks of accidental fires. What'd you think of them?
  18. They're all on 7.4v's lipos, I'm the last one!
  19. Component shop is decent enough, about £11 for 7.4v's.
  20. +1 to this I use ASG' mid caps, bought them off amazon I think, £50 for 10. Cheap and cheerful but do the job. A little tip if you do buy 10; number them or mark them some how. That way if one starts playing up during the game you just have to remember what number it is rather than trying to remember when they're all mixed up afterwards.
  21. Phoned them today and told them I ordered the wrong size voltage and needed a 7.4. They said send it back and they'll send out a replacement; same size mAh and C rating. If they do what they say they will I think I'll order a couple more off them I was looking in combat south today at 7.4vs and they were £25! What a rip off. Their 11.1v were cheaper at £20.
  22. Picked up another plastic SHS piston today and reassembled. It doesn't sound as smooth as it did do before the lipos but I got it Chrono at my local and it's shooting between 345-350. I'm going to leave it like that for now. I might just leave the 11.1v lipo's alone and go for 7.4v. Have you ever tried to send back stuff to component shop?
