No, there is no catering. There will be a stand pipe for fresh water and a single toilet.We will run a genny at the MDF base for people who need to charge their batteries - bring your own chargers as we will just provide a live mains socket. For day players, you will just need field rations; there are no lunch breaks as such so you eat during lulls in the fighting. For overnight campers, you will need to bring everything needed for survival except water. Personally, I would still only drink the water once its been boiled or passed through a purifier or tabs.

Welcome to the forum. The MP5 needs a claw mount to provide a top rail for a sight. Its a 9mm x 19mm parabellum SMG so is usually used at short range. If you want an authentic sight, they usually have a red dot. Depends if youre going RS authentic or airsoft effective - lol

Current Status Only 6 places left on the SOF team. Only 3 places left on the Moldistan Defence Force team. We still have plenty of space on the Moldistan Peoples Front/Rebels and Insurgents team. NB - Just because there's a government army and a SOF team, don't assume the MPF are going to get annihilated. The MPF are masters of hit and run, guerilla tactics and concealment. They are on home turf and numerically superior. Its anybody's game !!!

SF with grenade launchers - yes that could be fun.. Part of me wants to rock up with a battered AK, 5 days stubble and a bandolier and send all those smart arse shade wearing special forces types back to their own countries !

The MDF guys seem to be largely kitted out with M4 variants as is befitting their team identity. We are all looking forward to seeing what other Airsoft weapons turn up, especially on the rebel fighter front. Excited about the possibility for lots of AK's, possibly an occasional Dragunov and maybe even some Vintorezs in there somewhere. What would you front up with ?

I work with electronics and his question makes me wonder if he knows what he's doing and whether he understands how LiPOs are wired. i might be wrong but when its comes to electrics, there are a lot of well meaning amateurs about and for a few quid, its not worth a house fire.

Be VERY careful. If you short a LiPO battery because he wires it wrong, it will spoil your whole day. If he's that geeky, he should know by looking at them.

Have a look at Airsoft Zone in Romford £118 I wouldnt get too hung up on fps. Play a few games first. You will find that you see things differently after. In terms of vests, have a look on Ebay. Decide what sort of vest you want to carry your mags. Chest rigs tend to be cheaper if your budget limit is 30£. Assault vests and plate carriers tend to be dearer. If you get it wrong, you end up buying twice. Think about what camo to choose if you are going to use it as a basis for a loadout later on. Remember if you buy cheap from a Chinese supplier in Ebay that the authorities will often add VAT and a handling charge at point of import so its not that cheap in the end.

You're right about teams. I skirmish occasionally but it leaves me dissatisfied as you have a few mates who play as mini teams within a large team and then lots of lone wolves, plus people who just have no tactical awareness and run around a lot making lots of noise. There are some very serious people out there who spend hundreds and hundreds of pounds on having authentic imported kit and treat milsims and training as deadly serious. Ive seen some just spend 1500 quid on a nightsight. Good luck to them, but its not my cup of tea. I feel there has to be something in the middle - a compromise. We've got the milsim coming up in September and theres got to be some mileage in dressing the part with easy to get hold of, reasonably priced kit and forming up early into small force fire teams, If people want to meet up earlier to train or talk tactics at distance, then that is all good. Somebody asked me if they could play a sniper and have a spotter. Sure, no problem, sort it out in your fireteam, Research, discuss, train. If you want to go on a course to improve your knowledge, thats great, but you can learn a lot by reading and training together.

Actually, I think in the context of this game, "marshalls" strolling around in UN blue would confuse people. In some games, you could make it fit, but it will be difficult with this storyline. There are already three forces in different dress in this game. Its a very large woodland setting and I think in this case, referees in a fluorescent yellow tabard or jacket will be relatively low key.
