  1. Yup it was positively space age compared to the death by trigger pulls 'n' beeps process of other programmable units of the time.
  2. Going through Istanbul, anything other than shipping it internationally, probably not a chance in hell - its nigh on impossible to properly document them to meet the Turkish requirements for importing firearm replicas, even those in transit to elsewhere.
  3. As they’re considered a consumable - get a few of the newer Ratech magnetic NPAS plastic nozzles (aluminium are prime grade wank in UK weather, cool down too severe)
  4. UK sellers are really, really unlikely to have most of those in stock, and definitely won't have the main seal in stock - https://www.kyairsoft.com/ is go to for all parts WE.
  5. Baffles do exist if you have access to a 3d printer, but they only seem to be noticeable in difference on things either HPA engine or spring based. Better off with foam overall though.
  6. Ah nice. I'm inclined to have a go at printing the one that is a fully functional unit first (Flash hider, suppressor and heat shield as separate components that can be assembled as on the real one), as the threaded insert bit does seem a little bit meh on those.
  7. So, after a chat with UK distributor - The OEM is KWA, not VFC - the VFC photo circulating was fake, created by them for a giggle, knowing full well how the rumour mill likes to go to the races with things like that. The mags are made using 3D Printing, so given the aluminium, this implies DMLS - they're somewhere between half to two thirds the weight of the original KWA Vector GBB mags.
  8. That is an Ares OEM part - it came either on the gun or not at all, so unless someone has one floating about from yesteryear, it'll be unlikely.
  9. Did you use the all in one MCQ-PRT from the outfit in Portugal? Been building a parts list for mine - with the exception mine will be more to the KS-1 side of things as I cannot be bothered with cerakote or rattle can.
  10. Krytac themselves have been touting that they're Aluminium alloy (obviously with the american spelling mistake) and polymer, so thats promising.
  11. Coming back into this this year after having stopped due to expensive operations back in 2018/9. In my infinite wisdom, I sold a lot of stuff on or gave it away to those who didn't necessarily have the cash to hand, so apart from one long and sidearm, was pretty much from scratch. Gear - £735.19 WAS DCS SQM3 - £159.95 WAS Sabre Drop Leg - £55.96 WAS Gen 2 Dump Pouch - £26.36 WAS Drop Down Utility Pouch - £37.56 WAS Double Quick Mag - £26.36 Viper Lazer belt - £25 Viper Molle Day Pack £29 Nuprol SF Air helmet - £70 Nuprol Holster - £15 Earmor M32HC + PTT - £150 Gearbox rebuild on my AEG - £30 3x AAP-01 Green Gas Mags - £60 5x CYMA AK Mags - £50 Guns - £400 RATECH AAC 300BLK 9" (WE Base) with 7 Pmags - £400 Gamedays - £260 3x Enemy Down - £75 + £30 in petrol 2x Section 8 - £50 + £30 in petrol 1x The Depot 2.0 £35 + £70 in petrol (understandably, not in a huge rush to go back there tbh) Total - £1395.19 Admittedly, about half of that was since my last actual game, bloody lurgy. Luckily, for most little tidbits of plastic, I can just print it instead of coughing up money, so that's probably saved me at least £100.
  12. That site is just filled with gems - must be because of the spelling, but there are no bargains in that bargian bin, only piss takes.
  13. See, I just did the stupid thing and looked for STL's for a WE Mag loader, then spent 7.5 hours printing it as I hate those little speedloaders. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/we-tech-m4-airsoft-speedloader Won't be printing it again, as that was tedious.
  14. https://www.vinted.co.uk/items/3783745097-airsoft-gear-bundle £860 for a Mk4 Osprey and pouches - punted on a place where people have no clue at the best of times, royally taking the piss regardless. Edit: vinted staff deleted it, as its a prohibited item either way.
  15. You have to play at places where the marshals/owners give a crap though. Big events like AI, NAE etc - Too many players, too little time - and quite often are volunteers - nice that you had that experience with marshals but it is very, very rare.
  16. I bought a TRMR multishot when they were brand spanking new in the hot pink colour, hot off the press, then used it for the first time at AI500 at Kirton on Lindsey - I was the only person using a pink one out of a couple of hundred people and on the sunday it went missing in the afternoon - some scrote pinched it on the spot - i'd cycled maybe 3 blanks through it. If the airtag wasn't so ginormous, i'd use one in everything that could develop legs going forward.
  17. Now i've got ready access to a few more sites where I am now, I might actually make an attempt at playing at a few of them, especially now i've been given all clear for all operation recovery periods 🙂

  18. You've missed the most obvious aspect as to the price - it's Laylax, retailers can automatically charge 3 times as much because Japanese am bestest.
  19. I had combined reconstructive ACL and PCL surgery back in January 2020, I was back to walking unaided by about June (Physio over a zoom call was truly bizarre) and was back to open water swimming (leisurely, mind) by October. I've yet to even attempt coming back to Airsoft as it was probably the cause of it in the first place (A certain incident at Sandpit AI500 on the Sunday where some tit fell over on gravel and popped out both the knee and hip on one leg, and relocated it all in the same fall 😅). Persevere with the physio no matter how shit or pointless it seems and it'll be all sorted in no time at all.
  20. A wix site....alrighty then. *wide berth given*
  21. Like a certain large game event that only happens a few times a year with a group of a few hundred people including an essay regarding that? 🙄

Selling due to medical reasons meaning that i've been unable to play for 18+ months. G&P M7A1 with PTS EPM Midcap, PTS Enhanced Polymer Stock, Dytac TRX 7.2" Rail (fitted), G&P Troy Rail, G&P Cookie Cutter replica flash hider, RS Troy TRX Rail Sections. Internally, Lonex Metal Hop Unit, Lonex Titan A2 Motor and ASCU Gen4+ (However, it's either the motor or ASCU that is completely dead, as battery doesn't do anything when plugged in). To clarify this is completely dead due to an electrical fault, and is priced accordingly, mechanically it should be fine. No Splits or Swaps, selling only. Any prospective buyers must have a valid defence - Due to current events, i've edited this to posting only.

  23. Sorry for anyone who's tried to contact me in the past 3 and a bit months, been crazy busy with work (I have now got something like 20 days of TOIL accrued since 3rd Jan), wasn't intentionally blanking you.

  24. Just bought a pair of Motorola TLKR 80 Extremes, my entire team is swapping to them, as we just want radio's that work consistently, something that Baofeng's are not proving to be reliably consistent with. Only downside is they're only available in multiples of 2 at reasonable prices (ie 1 on it's own is ~£65 whereas a box of 2 is ~£75 = no brainer).
