Humbrol No 29 Dark Brown is also a near match to Magpul FDE and very easily obtainable as a spray in the UK as a last resort (available on Amazon), you will almost certainly need to clear coat that though (suggest a satin coat).

Modify-TECH 2 stage trigger box for MWS (does it make much difference?)
GiantKiwi replied to Rechard's topic in General Help
A two-stage trigger has two distinct phases of travel before firing. The first stage involves a longer, lighter pull to take up the slack. The second stage is a shorter, heavier pull that initiates the firing sequence. In theory this unit would allow the MWS to have the one thing this platform lacks in general, which is a crisp and precise trigger. However, in practice this particular unit is frought with problems where it is entirely possible in normal operation for the ZET plate to be bounced out of place and jam the BCG. It's firmly in the do not buy list until the manufacturer addresses the issue. If you desperately want a 2 stage trigger, Guns Modify offer one, but its very spendy. -
Watching progress bar percentages that still aren't yet finished even now.

The only companies that sold it were Odin Tactical and Wolf Armouries. The former has only got white in stock and the latter doesn't exist any more.
-
Assuming the cost increase is supposedly to cover additional insurance, unfortunately for this guy, can't be insured above base rate because its a RIF. Also @Tackle he's selling it for his brother, wouldn't that technically be contravening rule 6 of the forum specific classified rules, as he doesn't own it and is selling it on behalf of someone else.
-
Yup. Nozzles are a consumable part for a reason - if it doesn't yield in a misalignment, other more expensive bits usually pay the price.
-
RATech do a polymer one which is decent now (i'm some 18 months and over 50k bb's with HPA on it now without a failure), but the collective mind on HRC for WE, we're 99% sure the moulding is done by a 3rd party OEM that isn't allergic to micrometers.
-
The aluminium one? As that is renowned as a steer clear part, as it's special power is chopping bb's.
-
You could buy it as individual parts, wasn't advisable to, but you could. (MLEMart did it as individual bits)
-
Oh look, its Andreyy again, what a surprise.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
GiantKiwi replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
More spending abound: 2x Stanley Fat Max waterproof deep organisers - currently have a massive pile of spares dotted around in jiffy bags, spare ikea lunchboxes and even a fishing tacklebox, Toolstation had a deal on 2 for £32 of the normally significantly more expensive waterproof ones, so nabbed that. Guarder Recoil Buffer - because WE M4 is getting pretty severe bolt bounce and is causing misfeeding galore, shifting weights should fix that (hopefully) Silverback GBB Bucking 4 pack - wasn't sure what hardness to choose for the Scar now it's semi locked and intending to run it at 1.8J, so bought the 1 of each option. -
The 'What have you just bought' Thread
GiantKiwi replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Because everyone on HRC raves about them, I have bought: Waldo Dynamics MWS Hop adjuster arm and a pack of the Ion MWS return springs. Omega nub was a reasonable stop gap, but it doesn't work briliiantly, and the stock DE return springs are just poo. -
I did not, i'll go do that now.

Whilst the way it was done was wrong, the guy selling is objectively charging too much. Aside from the pisstaking UK retailers, who are definitely not just dropshipping this, honest (DCA/Extreme) The gun + 6 extra mags can be had in the UK for about £740 brand new, or for those willing to import from Taiwan at worst case scenario, £580. These days, it looks like the latter is more likely to be the only option for those quantities, so this seller deems it suitable to jack up the price because of it. USD to GBP based of at time of typing average conversion of 0.74 GBP to 1 USD. Alu receiver WE SVD - https://kicbbgun.com.tw/en/pro_05_02.php?id=19870&category=184 - $292.38 USD = £216.14 WE SVD Magazine - https://kicbbgun.com.tw/en/pro_05_02.php?id=19868&category=307 - $ 48.12 USD = £35.57 Shipping for my last few orders of bigger parcels than this would ever be has been $60 USD with EMS = £44.36 So: Cost for the gun and mags shipped in GBP: 216.14 + (35.57 x 6) + 44.36 = £473.92 Customs charge of 20% taken against whole value inc shipping at point of import: £473.92 x 1.2 = £568.70 Add the Parcelfarce handling fee of £12, resulting total: £580.70. Or for UK, wait until Bespoke have the gun back in stock again, or will special order it for you: https://www.bespokeairsoft.co.uk/we-svd-gas-blowback-rifle-plastic-faux-wood £379.99 Plus Z1 to have the mags in stock https://www.zerooneairsoft.com/products/WE-GBB-Mag-for-SVD-20rds £60 £379.99 + (£59.99 x 6) = £739.93 (probably another £20 or so for shipping)

The RATech M4 (which for all intents and purposes contains most of the RATech catalogue for WE M4's in one unit, and has a forged 6061 aluminium receiver set, as opposed to the stock diecast Zamac receiver) in my guns list to the side cost £400 with 7 of the M4/MSK Pmags a little over 18 months ago, before the V3's were released. The retail on it when it was new would have been about £1500. WE V2's are essentially defunct and worthless now, so asking the same for a thing with some furniture on it with a single Stanag is a piss take.
-
I had seen that before seeing your response here and had wondered if it was related ?

New joiners getting classifieds from google and messaging you to ask if its still available, when the big orange banner at the top of the page says "Completed, Sold". Multiple times this week on the same item which sold nearly a month ago. One last week about something that sold in 2020..

The WE M4 comes with a quad rail as standard, yet he listed it as an attachment, implying its been added when it hasn't. The foregrip is magpul in theory, hence the supposition that he had said everything was.
-
This is just cuckoo It's a V2, so now completely defunct as spare parts haven't been made for them in nearly 18 months. You can buy a new V3 by importing it from KICBB with shipping and taxes for £275. Magpul have never made a quadrail handguard, so that's a lie. The amount of wear on the top of the mag is something that doesn't happen on something that is barely used. Also is very vague on the power output, makes no mention of an NPAS, if it doesn't have one, they output 440fps stock on green gas. The gubbins added don't add value if the original ones aren't included. Realistically, this is worth more like £150-200 tops.

I got to my local yesterday quite late, and when the Marshal's proclaimed - awesome, a player has turned up, I knew it was going to get cancelled - and it did.
-
Clutch Precision QC is so bad it makes RATech's look good. (Context, RATech are allergic to micrometers)
-
The little black rectangular stickers on the mags - he bought those from Asia, so the mags are more like £40 each - as I literally just had one arrive from Asia yesterday at £45 inc shipping from HK. Edit: Zoomed in on the PEQ and torch - PEQ is a clone, as the aiming adjustment collar is brass. The surefire light is a clone as i've got the exact same one sat in a box, fucked from moisture ingress, the markings are not even close to looking real.
