Also ordered an MPA nozzle about a week ago directly from AngryGun. Waiting for it to arrive and hopefully it plays nicer than the RA-TECH NPAS and the hoping that nozzle springs are stronger than the stock TM.

I ordered mine direct. Didn’t realise they’d been out for a week. I only saw the FB post the other day. Hopefully it can up my FPS close to 500

It was a absolute pain for me as i will rebuild the hop with the barrel to the left . But when i adjust the hop i usually have the barrel to the right . So i just put a + and - on the body to remind me

Quick question.  Has anyone tried the orga barrel for the mws ? Have one for my 416c and am happy with the results.  So was going  to give it ago

I’ve had 2. Good quality. Not the best on the market, not the worst. I ran one in my dmr for a while but I prefer the steel barrels now like the Prometheus. Little tighter so more FPS boost without having to ‘turn it up’ and being steel it should be more durable.

I used a JR Hacksaw. Pop a pencil in the tube to measure the depth, then I marked the outside of the tube with said depth. I added about 5mm to be sure I was not going to hit the valve then stuffed kitchen towel in the tube to keep dust out the valve and sawed it off. Pull out towel wadding and job done. Really quick mod to do once you've done one. All 8 mags have this done and they work just fine. 👍

EDIT: I used a needle file to round off the cut after - forgot to mention it!

EDIT 2: No valve key required. Just use a flat head...

^^^This is the best way of doing it I’ve found. And as above, you don’t need a valve key. Just a flat head and something to cut the tube. I’ve even just ‘pulled off’ the zinc tube in bits with a pair of pliers before. It’s not ideal, but the metal is soft so you can grip it with pliers and twist like a Spam tin.

    Hello chaps,

So I ordered an NPAS from mlemart

And they sent me the WE open bolt one (silver one). I know it's widely accepted that the mws npas is far better, but is there anyway this one can be used to achieve decent results?

You could unscrew it and put the tiniest amount of the weakest locktite on the threads. All you want to do is create enough resistance to stop it turning with recoil.

  4. @LEGXGPF Orga do a 410mm, but a prometheus 370 should work really well too. Unless the kit is machined badly, you shouldn't need the barrel to come right to the end of the inner barrel. do you need a suppressor for it? I have a spare Z-parts mk12 suppressor laying around

Just out of curiosity what are people's views on the MWS and it's viability for milsim events?

Can anyone offer any general advice or insight on running one for such events?

That’s where I’d say the mws is the king. Low round count, realism games.

All I’d do is if it’s particularly cold I put one of those fabric stick on heat pads under my mag pouches/in the lining of the PC. I’ve only needed to do it when it was approaching Zero degrees on a normal skirmish.

  6. You need to retread the lower because the TM buffer tube threads are squared off.

AEG barrel nuts seem to work for me. I’ve had a madbull Vtac rail on mine which was AEG spec and the CASV was an AEG I believe.

  7. To stop the cases cracking at the pin point buy the rear sling mount. The metal bracket secures the pin to it and eases pressure off the frame. I’ve got one fitted after breaking mine and it’s been great since.

  8. I’ve done it to a GHK AK. You can pretty much only do it to GHK mags because of their tubular mag reservoirs. I imagine doing it to a WE mag would make an impressive pipe bomb.

For the ghk you needed (to convert a GG mag) a GHK co2 outlet valve for the mag, a kjw m9 inlet valve (has a pin hole in the side to let the liquid co2 enter the mag). That’s your mag done.

For the bottle you need the soda stream bottle obviously. A madbull fill adapter. Called an XM something. And a palmers pursuit adapter to go between the bottle and the madbull filler as it won’t thread directly onto a soda stream bottle.

Pretty sure it will only work on GHK mags though because of their chamber design as well as their valve design.

the co2 is unregulated going into the mag

Anyone ever used a pdi w hold in their rifle?? Going to fit the super nub and modify tan this week but I love w holds and wouldn't mind using one.

I had in my DMR way back. I liked the bucking. Took some fiddling to make sure it was centred and it didn’t like SUPER heavy BB’s. It did shoot straight and far though

@Wo1f - My only guess on this front would be if the G36 series was released early on in the NGRS lines development/deployment. It's my understanding that their AK's are also considered to be NGRS but it's only the newest one which offers a stop on empty feature.

It’s a shame really. Not having the features and upgrade options of the others is the only reason I’ve not bought one. Might as well buy any of the other ebb g36’s for half the price. The WE gbbr version is still king for me
