Oh, you were unhappy with the majority of a lot of purchases, right? I mean, "most likely" suggests you must have what you consider to be a statistically significant data set. Personally I've bought airsoft stuff from China inc. HK, about 25-ish times. Of those, 1 got cocked up probably due to me adding an item after the initial order, but it got sorted in the end, so about a week extra wait (ehobbyasia); 1 failed to arrive at all and they took longer than i would have preferred to refund me (uncompany); 1 sent me stuff of quality with which I was unhappy (an ebay seller - i forget), but TBF to them, I did blag them down in price for a combined deal and i wasn't actually that arsed about some of it anyway - the sling was an unbranded 1 point bungy type and was/is fine. Still, I used google translate to send a complaint and they offered me a full refund or a future discount - i went with the discount: haven't actually used it yet, but hey ho, they'll get something in which i want sooner or later. The other 22-ish deals have been fine. I mean, when I buy something from China which is less than 1/2 the price of the branded item in the UK, I'm pretty sure it's a knock off, so I don't care when it proves to be. All I care about is whether the knock off does what I need.

Generalised stereotyping much? Plus you're into guns and the military so, after that statement, you're most likely a white supremacist. Of course we could both be wrong. Plus we have limited info so most likely we are...

I would say +1ish to Geoff's post, but saving up and still having enough to skirmish might be difficult for the yoot among us... A big plus of the NCS VISM is that it will be very light and cool to wear, but at the cost of robustness. Still, you do get a decent looking belt with it, which for £25 can't be sniffed at. I think that if you don't mind your kit looking like you've been on ops in the field for a fair while after a year of owning it, then it's a good choice. Also, if you cover it in 2nd hand issue Osprey pouches and some kind of hydro bladder pouch, they will protect the vest. If light weight is the way forward for you, you might want to consider this Recon rig also. I suspect it would prove to be more robust. -

That's a good price beermonster, which is good because you'll probably only get much use out of the pants. You'll get way too hot running around in a waterproof top. For me it soon gets to the stage where being rained on feels lovely for the cooling... It's the sitting/kneeling in puddles/mud and walking through wet grass getting my calves soaked which then trickles down into my otherwise impervious boots that pisses me off - ex issue goretex DPM's for me. -
Have you seen the clips that they're using these days, Dave? You could hang off them just fine.

That reminds me, Adam, ACMGear.com are not to be trusted @all.

Oh yeah, being a fleabay ninja is the only way I've managed to amass most of my collection of airsoft gear. Having said that, there have been a few things that I just went ahead and spanked whatever it cost, so I'm not sure how much I've actually saved overall, if that makes sense. I mean I blew £400 on my Ares L1A1 SLR and I forget how much on mags for it, but they weren't cheap and I have about 8 of 'em - and the fcuking thing has never actually worked 100% and right now is totally dead!!! And then there's all the bits'n'bobs I bought for my CYMA AK - only one thing I did to it actually improved its performance over how it was straight out of the box (and that was a bodge that I did with tape FFS!), but it made it shoot at 380-oddFPS, so that had to be undone lol! In fact I'm seriously thinking of buying another one exactly the same and leaving it the fcuk alone!

Pretty much everything on gunfire.pl is a bargain. A lot of it is free shipping and Poland is in the EU so there's no import tax.

What you need, Mrs. Nutster, is an OD tutu. Just so happens I...

Yeah, a Gatling gun would be a giggle, but bloody expensive for its one use! I mean I can't see cowboys and indians being a regular event, but maybe I'm outta touch... Bren: totally. Gas shell / mini-moscart firing and shell ejecting GBB Saiga shotgun, with a QD shell catcher cage.

I don't understand the problem, Jubigala. Do you mean you haven't considered sewing the velcro to the patch? Surely not? If that is the case, you can get iron on velcro. Dunno how good it is - I sew... -

Oh I dunno: 6.01mm barrel, TM hop unit - job's a good'un! Maybe :s TBF, so long as it was upgradeable so it could hold it's own against upgraded VSR's and L96's, it'd be worth £350 for the looks. It's an Ares. I'm a bit surprised it worked long enough to produce a "grouping"! I want Ares looks and somebody else's innards. Or for Ares to get a new R&D Dept.

That is a damn good point, Zac. TBH I think that the weight of such a big rifle is enough of a balancing negative to allow an extra 70-100FPS over the 500 of standard sniper rifles, with naturally a longer minimum engagement distance.

You can indeed piss further than me, Rif! But I would not need two people to carry my dick around a woodland site quickly...

A quick search only came up with the .338 Mini Hecate by Ares. It's this huge one I think needs making and by somebody other than Ares - A&K maybe.

Aahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahaha! So much more satisfying than or just lol - i did tho - lol that is. Can you imagine it? "Well, officer, I just misunderstood something he said, but it was Sunday, so, well you know... I shot him." "Yeah, Sunday. They'll go easier on you in court. No need to be silly. You'll be out in five years..." Anyway, I just came across this: PGM Hecate II 12.7mm x 99mm NATO Anti-Materiel / Counter Sniper Rifle No, really... ...I did come!

Yeah Mike, maybe there is. And if I wanted to be really disappointed I could get a two-tone one

@TacMaster: thanks mate, that is a bit more likely *mentally pencils in for next spring* @FALCON: it's a Lawgiver, and to properly represent the real Judge Dread, the barrel must end in a bell-end-esque bulge. Have no misconceptions about him, Dread is the ultimate expression of fascism. He has elements of 'anti-hero', but the both subtle and overtly obvious comedy in his relentless, unthinking, brutality is the main stay of the character.
