  1. Good man yourself! Be aware that you'll almost certainly get hit for VAT and the £8 flat rate handling fee by customs for goods coming from the USA in a commercial looking package.
  2. Ironically enough I'm in the middle of a plastic machete & scabbard customisation and creation

  6. Patrol Base - 9000 Blaster 0.2g BB's for £17.48 of course there's the matter of £5.50 P&P to mainland UK, but that's still a quid cheaper than standard on site £8/bottle prices and, if like me you wanted something else anyway, it's a spanker of a deal... Here's another one - Boots from Surplus & Outdoors some good bargains in this list.

  9. Yeah, I will. The thing with this mesh is I know for a foregone fact that it will withstand BB's at any fps they could be fired at and not disintegrate in mid air, it's how well it can be seen through which is the issue. It is used to make fencing masks though, so I'm hopeful.

  11. That's impressive^ for tape. The flecktarn stuff is so much better than the woodland, but regardless, you've done a good job with it.
  12. Isn't that the one with the funky mag? That's crap for upgrades? Hmmmm.... The 2-tone A&K SVD from Action Hobbies is the same money and is boss for upgrades.

  15. Ultrathon mozzie repellent lotion (as issued to British Army - 34.34% DEET) at the frankly stupendous price of £3.86 & Free Delivery!
  16. Yeah Alphabet, that does look really good. But what are they on your feet?
  17. Yeah, you can't tell from the pic, but there's a ridge of foam under the cloth lining that sits above the kneecap, so unless they come loose they shouldn't be able to slip. I have the same elbow pads in black and they are so comfortable, but also stay put, so i'm confident. Still, if not, then I'll go with adding little belt loops to the sides of my combats to feed the lower straps through.
  18. ASPUK probably & it's about £36 + shipping it's $47.30 inc shipping from airsoftpro.cz and it turns up pretty quick
  19. Yeah, i check it periodically - when i remember but my brain doesn't work too well these days... Anyway, here you go: http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/product_info.php?cPath=93_204&products_id=1814
  20. Oooh you jammy bastard! That is exactly the project I'm doing, but the 1 I bought isn't in as good a condition as that!
  21. My Hatch Centurion Knee Pads turned up They have a ridge in the foam that feels like it will stop them falling down, as well as the coolaboola QD strap buckles. I'm not sure they could be any better unless they were made out of titanium armour...
  22. Oh right, that's more of an alpen rucksack than a veshmeshok, i think. Cool yeah, but the strap/loop design is sort of iconic. I washed my unissued one to get the stores-stench out of it and the colour bled out more than i expected, but it looks so cool now. I'll get some pics together sometime and put them in the Loadout Pics thread. Yeah, if i've understood your diagrams, and fair fcuks to you for info presentation skills btw, i use it pretty much the same, except i do the button up - it's just bloody annoying compared to a canteen that goes in a pouch which stays attached to the belt. I don't trust it to stay on my belt when i run without the button done up, but i need to figure out some way of stopping it bouncing about like a tit fantasy anyway. I wish i could understand Russian so i could take part in discussions on Russian ex-service forums, because they must have found a way to stop their personal supply of tank anti-freeze from being such a ball ache!
  23. Yeah, I've got one of those. I dunno about the Chinese ones but the Russian ones are a pain in the arse. The chain makes unscrewing the top awkward and the whole thing bounces on a belt like a big woman on a horse... plus, you can't take the bottle out of the pouch without undoing the strap that holds it onto a belt, so you may as well bring the whole thing up to your mouth, but then it's fiddly to get back on the belt. Can you see if your dad knows anything about this that could help me track one down, because my veshmeshok has only one external pocket and some crappy twine through a hem to tie it up, no eyelets or proper string like yours.
