  1. day 2 in the gym - 1hr 10mins heart rate above 140 / took me an hr munching biccies & smoking fags to recover enough to walk home!

      well, thats 10 mins less than you spent in the gym, good job!

       

      try the recovery stuff they sell, can seem expensive, but some of them works a treat!

      i know it sounds stupid mate but the best thing for gym is water and lots of it. drink an extra 500ml of water 2 hours before exercise and it will hel you keep hydrated.

      it's a minicipal leisure centre so they just have a vending machine for chocolate crisps and coffee/tea / I gave a bloke who works there a tenner for a bit of 1on1 so yeah, i've had the water stylee n ting speech - been doing a litre over the 2hrs before and another litre during - thx tho, it all helps
