1.5mm hex key for the NPAS. It'll probably benefit from heavier BBs than .25s as well

What's the ranking?

That does look pretty jank ngl

It's so he can point to it as proof to the Mrs that has selling it all up but just...no one is biting.

It seems to lock up well ATM but it's pot metal lugs so I don't have huge faith in the long term -
AK mags fitting and locking in place but not feeding
Lyndication replied to Johndaniel4863's topic in General Help
Are you sure the Double Bell is compatible with those mags? Is there any difference between the DB AK mags and the Cyma ones? How deep they go into the magwell, the height of the feed tube, etc, etc -

Haha, I've heard a lot about these both good and bad, but I do love a teching challenge. I may see if I can build it as a non-Takedown version but well see. I'm still stripping it down to clean and grease it. So much gunk, metal shavings, and dirt, but hey that's what I expected tbf. Bargain price if I get it running well. A few steel aftermarket parts in there as well, including most of the bolt. -

Picked up the M700 box of parts that was selling on here recently. Should be a fun project getting it up and running! -

I don't think the lighting is doing it any favours there -
The VFC AK, genuinely, does not need any aftermarket internally. A few people have tried different barrels, buckings, etc in it but it doesn't give any benefit. Everything is steel as well. Only things I'd suggest is installing an X-ring in the nozzle, and of course an adjustable valve. First one gives better cycling in the cold, the latter should just be in everything it's that handy. You can get real parts for the AK if you wanna dress it up a bit btw. DandBMilitaria is UK based and has some nice stuff. I got a proper sling for mine, for example. The URGI can need some TLC but honestly don't fuck with it unless you have issues. There's mods to fix hop inconsistency and improve cycling, but it can be fiddly to get them set up.

Tbf the DE he tested came off pretty badly in that one as well. Considering he's running them at about 2J towards the end, it's weird how much his guns underperform.

This whole thing is hilarious

Oh man that gets worse the longer it goes on

There's not much that can help if it's just sloppy and muddy tbh. Good boots with ankle support are pretty essential. It's a long, long three legged race to the car if you fuck your ankle on most sites.
-
Nope, there's plenty of metal bodied TM and WA guns That said, it's often zamak rather than alu and definitely not steel.
-
There's nothing internal that needs replaced, and it's compatible with real AK parts if you can get those. Wiitech B33 railed dust covers for the TM AK GBB fit. (Not the AEG). The stock you can shim with tape until it's toight like a toiger

Returning to Airsoft and looking for an old AEG
Lyndication replied to Specte_i's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Section 8 is my favourite in the area -
The wide bit goes at the back, those connectors are for if you're running a shoulder harness. (Like the ol' PLCE). You don't to fill the front of a belt, it gets in the way of crouching and going prone. That wide bit lets you attach larger pouches for heavier stuff, like water bottles, gas bottles, and HPA tanks. Oh and note on fitting the plate carrier. The top of it should be in line with your collarbone. The bottom will end up slightly below your ribs, ideally. The idea is to cover your ribcage cos that's where your most important squishy bits are.

Why's the belt on backwards?

If you read the article, he didn't purchase a rif, and he didn't use Just Cos. He bought a two tone and painted it. He's underage to have a legal defense to buy RIFs.
