Fast/Ops Core helmets for bigheads
SgtTalbert replied to CommonComrade's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I'm a 60-61cm head size and this fits me perfectly (with just a bit of a tightening via the dial at the back) Wear it all day and is comfy and doesnt make me sweat that much either www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRSOFT-OPS-CORE-TAN-SAND-DE-SWAT-TACTICAL-MARITIME-ABS-HELMET-JUMP-RAIL-L-XL-/390967159007?hash=item5b077568df -
Can you ping me a message or something so I remember....But I will take a pic tonight for you
-
I've got a pair of these - http://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/revision-desert-locust-fan-goggle-essential-kit-15381-p.asp Brilliant
-
Exactly. What M60.
-
Haha sorry! I'll try not to next time I won't be there Sunday as I'm going to their new woodland site on Saturday. I'll be there next Saturday for the 1yr anniversary game and then the following Sunday Lots off opportunity for further violation....
-
Yeah, WE do their own holsters which do have a Molle adapter. You could also look at IMI
-
Yeah, I'll be there, either Marshaling or Playing, hopefully a bit of both! Support guns are now allowed at the Gaol (outside only)
-
***PICTURE HEAVY*** Here is my new support weapon, the ASG US Ordnance M60 MK43 MOD 1. I used it at The Gaol site and absolutely had a blast with it. I believe our very own @Happy was on the receiving end of a few of my bursts Really fun to use, fed flawlessly and I was very surprised to find it nearly matched my TM recoil for range! Cracking fun for £330
-
I have one of these, very happy with it, solid rate of fire and the range was very very good, was rather close to matching my TM recoil.
-
Here we go...
-
I have one of these - http://www.uktactical.com/p-4405-warrior-double-40mm-grenade-multicam.aspx Fits my BFG perfectly with enough out the top to grab quickly but not enough to fall out when running
-
Ah right OK, did not realise! If that is the case, can you recommend a decent alternative please? Also, are 2 pin connections better than 1 pin or does it not matter?

Looking to order this today/tomorrow for the weekend. I currently have the Motorola TLKR T6 which has started cutting out and also doesn't seem as clear as others who are using the Motorola XTNI radios. However, my budget doesn't stretch to them unfortunately, however, a few people on this forum have recommended the BaoFeng's. This is what I am looking at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007HH6RR4/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0WS0ZPH675YDQDXKKY8J&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455333147&pf_rd_i=468294 I was going to do the 'buy the frequently bought together package' which is: BaoFeng UV-5R 136-174/400-480 MHz Dual-Band DTMF CTCSS DCS FM Ham Two Way Radio - £23.90 USB Programming Cable for Baofeng UV-5R/666S/777S/888S Radio - £3.04 VicTsing NAGOYA NA-771 Dual Band 144/430Mhz U/V SMA Female Antenna for Baofeng UV-5R WOUXUN - £6.39 Now, my questions are: My Current Motorola's are preprogrammed 1-8 and the sub channels 1-16 I understand I will need to program the BaoFengs - If I follow this guide http://ukradioscanning.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=328 will I be able to switch to channel 5 or 8 or 2 on the fly to match the other players/marshals if needed OR does it already come preprogrammed and the radio just has the ability to 'program' channels manually? Last question.... Am I also able to use any 2.5mm 2pin adaptor or is it BaoFeng specific? I'd like to use a PTT etc... Sorry for basic questions, do not know anything about radios at all! Thanks Tal

Karrimor SF X Harness Under Armour Webbing Yoke Coyote Tan Condor Double AK pouch with pistol pouches -
Although all the posts are 'display' based, the title does include transport, so here is my packed gun case (Hopefully I can twist the other halves arm around to letting me have a display area - until then, its all stuff in a wardrobe
-
I think I will go with either a 40mm grenade pouch or pistol pouch (They will be re-purposed as they are supposed for sure)for next Sunday's game and then long term, sort out a clone of the OSOE NSW helmet ballast OR as Mack suggested, create an account on Devt6 and get one made Thanks for all the input
-
Genius.
-
Ah yes that looks perfect. Now to hunt for a UK based clone (trying to sort for game on March 1st) Thanks a lot
-
Ah maybe not then. Do you have an counterweight pouch in mind that I could use the smaller batteries with that can Velcro to the helmet. I do want to put them in a pouch just in case it rains / added bit of protection
-
Just seen this - this looks like it would hold the smaller type of external battery http://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/blackhawk-spec-ops-multicam-nv-counterweight-helmet-pouch-10014-p.asp

Yeah you can, you can get what's called a skeleton housing which literally allows access to the ports (whilst still protecting everything else). It's obviously no longer waterproof but for Airsoft that's fine. I've got one on order and seen a few people run this kinda setup. I have emailed the seller yesterday morning but they have yet to get back to me
