  1. Most sites operate with a "it must bend about 70-90degrees" so no, these things are very rigid, so not really skirmish friendly. I'm pretty sure my local site will allow me to use it during our private games when we book out their sites though. They know us to be safe and responsible. Really it can't do any damage than an airsoft gun can. Yes its pointy and solid, but walk round a corner with a rifle and poke someone in the face, that's going to do a lot of damage too. Especially with some of the flash hider designs around.
  2. Indeed. The bokken isn't rubber, its poly carbonate. (Misleading last post, just the knife is rubber) Was expecting it to be a little weaker than it is. But you can strike really solid objects and it just keeps it shape. Already destroyed 3 boxes. The end is also for some reason strong enough to pierce its way through multiple layers of thick cardboard when you stab with it LOL. Anyone looking at cold steel training products, DO IT. Tempted to get another sword so i can have little battles with my brother XD Wanting an actual Tanto (Because tantos are just sexy) from them so might just wait til i have the cash for that. As of next month i'll have -£300 to my name unless i find a job soon XD
  3. A new knife, and sword (Rubber of course) My 416 for size:
  4. Mmm 20% at colt steel. Shame all i bought was a training tanto and a bokken. So want a decent tanto but dont have £200 spare :(

I like my knifes XD Also i chopped down a small tree for firewood with my machete. Don't think a Gerber can do that XD

Lol. If you're looking for something smaller i can recommend Opinel folders. Mine's 17 or so years old and it's still perfect. The wood actually wears with age, giving it a little character

  5. Just hit me i no longer live near any decent airsoft shops and now have to internet buy everything... FML. Might have to sell some parts so i can afford a bulk bb order :(

I'm actually not too far from swindon, but they're pretty expensive. Will be just cheaper to order online as well.

Nearest one to me is 85 miles away. It sucks :(

  6. My housemate last year was french and i discovered he played airsoft at home... He had a famas
  7. I wouldn't carry a sword. Its quite impractical as you can't really do much else with it apart from kill, and not that effectively. Machete type blades would be the best, easier to maintain, still carry some power and tend to slice better. Do love my Parang. Went camping in Malaysia, brought it back after using it for a while there. Used it over here for camping and cutting up logs for firewood. Still sharp
  8. Most of what people own wouldn't really be up to the job anyway. A good sword costs thousands
  9. Depends on what film/comic/book etc you base "your" apocalypse on. Walking dead... You see some of the characters simply push a slightly point bit of wood straight through a zombie's skull like it's made of cardboard...
  10. Well... f*cked that exam right up.

  11. Anyone know of a place that has a Blackhawk G17 belt serpa holster in stock?

  12. I've lived in Wiltshire for 19 years. Only now I have realised it and the areas around it are the Cotswolds...

  13. SU are making us hold formal elections. Had to book a room out and tell them the time so they can observe. Joke's on them though, each position is unopposed. Gonna be the shorted elections in history.

I just dictatored the shit out of our AGM elections. Just declared the officers over Facebook and asked if anyone had an issue with it.

No one did, so there we have it.

The Union seem to think we all have things to be busy about, it takes me about 3 minutes to organise trips and shit, I don't know what they think we do =/

We did the same last year in the pub. The SU weren't very happy about that :P At least they've nominated us as best special interest society :)

      Airsoft-Ed

We're basically a back alley dodgy deal society as far as doing stuff by the Union's actual procedures goes lol I do everything, I don't need any officers, other than to fill the Union's criteria to allow us to be on the Society A-Z, it's all a bit gay.

  14. Quoted that huge post just for that? Ok....
  15. Ran out of Green Tea flavored Monster Energy :( 1st world problems...

  16. If you have a local shop that sells them, it's probably not worth it. I tend to buy blasters online, but i usually order at least 6 bottles, and other assortment of things. If your gun is shooting over 300fps its worth using 0.25g to get a more stable bb. You wont notice a huge difference, but they'll be more accurate and a slight increase in range.
  17. I've only used Madbull, Excel, Blasters + Blaster Devils, and King Arms. Tend to avoid cheap brands as some of my guns have 6.01mm barrels.
  18. No. The BB will have the same energy, no matter the weight. Heavier BBs actually have greater range as they are less affected by wind, thus reducing velocity at a slower rate while staying more accurate.
  19. For the CM16, i'd reccomend 0.25g, since you should be getting around 300-350fps. GBB pistols i'd run 0.28g or 0.3g. Always chrono on 0.2g though.
  20. Bought an old ACOG off a mate. Might be a little battered but since it's already sitting on my gun, I CBA to order a new one from HK
  21. Plan is to work all summer full time, not spend a penny (Including no airsoft) and finally buy myself a Honda S2000. Wish me luck XD
