It was angry gun £45 I think for the baseplate with the swivel. TBF I think the QD point from FRV is cheap as chips. Like £10 for the sling and qd point. Was a bit worried but they seem like a well trusted brand . Just had to shave it down to be shorter

Yeah I have filed it down and seems okay now, I have tried pulling it with almost all my strength to pull it out but it seems in there good, Still a bit anxious to trust it now but lets see.

What QD point buffer plate do you use?

I have asked in another thread but do you reckon it's worth modifying? Like shaving down the point that is too long. Surely as long as the Ball bearings go in its all good

Hi all, So I have an Angry Gun QD sling plate and swivel for my TM MWS, Turns out it isn't deep enough for standard QD points, not my FRV sling at least. Would anyone think it's a good/bad idea to just shave down the QD point thats too long? My logic is that surely it just needs the Ball Bearings to interface properly and anything after that is unneeded right? Left Angry gun point and Right FRV tailoring QD point

I don't even know how this is a problem. Got this Angry Gun QD sling swivel and plate for the buffer tube. It doesn't fit standard QD points!!! So now stuck with an incompatible sling and waste of money. Would avoid the Angry gun Sling point unless you're planning on using their swivel.

Yep exactly to run as a backup cheers for the tip 100% agree, been looking at the angry gun kit but I have spent way too much at the moment. To be honest I probably wouldn't be one of those guys trying to accurately represent the L119A2 with correct selectors, charging handles etc. Just a CTR, T1/2 style red dot and that sexy forend. I suppose l119 inspired is more accurate.

Isn't there a whole thing about changing the directing of the wiring or connector ends?

I am tempted to get an NGRS but I would get it from eagle 6 with upgrades and battery wiring out of the box, CBA fucking about with an AEG

Anyone ever put screen protectors over their torch lenses. Just got an Olight PL2 and the thought only just occurred to me it's still a lense that could smash.

Ok so scrapping the Ferro Concepts. does anyone have any experience with the Angry gun QD sling mount? I am gonna throw the sling swivel away and just mount an MS3 qd point straight to it. Yeah I don't think I wanna bother with any clear coat. I want it to chip. tempted to even use some paint stripper on a sponge to smudge some of it.

Yeah I am just going to leave it together after tasing off the sensitive areas where paint could get in the gun. I don't want it to look neat and tidy but I am just worried about paint getting inside the selector and bolt release

Never painted a gun before. Tempted to do my MWS. Would you guys recommend taping off the selector, bolt release or mag catch. It's a GBB and I wanna protect the trigger box but I have seen a lot of them just painted over.

Just adding on all the paint. I am a super hypochondriac so just wanna check something. I have seen a lot of painted guns with selector switch, mag release and bolt release all painted. Do you guys generally tape these off or is it pretty safe to paint over them on your MWS? I kinda wanna leave them untaped because don't want to paint job to look too perfect and neatly done, but I also don't wanna fuck up my gun. Can I leave these untaped or not worth the risk?
