Yep, just seen the Facebook post. A bit annoying the website has no contact info or details about it.

I was literally just reading all about this Where have you read that this game is cancelled? as I know some sites have contacted their local councils and are still playing.

Watched this video just before reading this topic. I am very confused now. Seems like some councils are allowing games. The implication from the video and site he references are that the government reference airsoft as it was due to an incident with a bunch of lads turning up to essentially an unlicensed and uninsured event. Whereas If you go to a proper site it is "Organised" I am actually so confused and annoyed now haha. Some sites are going ahead but not mine.

Yeah I have the matching flash hider, I think I have sorted it. I was trying to treat it like a normal screw and having it all the way "untight" by having it full loose to the left. Didn't realise it is a cam lock and so I needed to fully tighten it right and then back it off slightly once it was on. very confused but sorted.

Yeah I have the angry gun with surefire suppressor as well but just can't seem to get the thing to lock on

Out of interest, if that is an angry gun suppressor how the hell do you get it on? when I put my one on it is too tight before it even engages with the anti rotation teeth. So it is just held on with a tiny bit of friction

Yeah tactical reloads and I was using a HSGI Taco style pouch with the retention band off so it just fell out. Have binned them and got a mix of BFG and Esstac pouches coming. Ordered 3 new mags as well. It is hard to say for certain but I don't think it does

Okay give it to me straight, how badly did I fuck up? Dropped the mag and bent the metal casing over the bolt stop catch. Tried to bend it back and snapped clean off. Is it safe to still run it in the gun or is it gonna chew something up with that sharp edge? It doesn't look like it actually touches any moving parts but almost not worth the risk it seems.

Yeah this dude is so cool. So I have always been confused about this. I know AKs don't have a bolt catch as such but I did think the bolt locked on empty? Guess not.

Yeah I really don't understand why Marui only focus on the Japanese market. Like I get they do very well at it, but their shit sells out instantly when available elsewhere. Even if they don't want to handle much of it themselves they could surely just make supply easier for retailers and channel.

Yep the HAO is a masterpiece, no idea how you put the inner barrel in haha. But compared with the angry gun on price I just don't know anyone that can actually justify it. I am not a machinist by any measure, but surely the Hao is completely overpriced. I get making an IUR is a complex process but cmon, 1000????

Yep that's true each to their own, I will admit I didn't like the IUR/L119 at fist but it grew on me very quickly and I think for a RS weapon is a really clever solution as you get free float without having the big and bulky bolts between the hand guard and receiver like on MK18 and URGI. It is also probably better for retaining zero with lasers and if you want to mount red dots on the hand guard.

Oh yeah, no doubt it has it's pros just shame about the looks. I think the Colt Canada IUR is the best of both worlds. Very slim hand guard but still has the rails.

I Just got back into airsoft after a 7 year absence and was horrified to see all this M-LOK stuff haha. I think it is absolutely ugly but I get why it is popular. As chunky and heavy as a DD RIS is, I will take an old school MK18 any day.

I once had some Bolle glasses, not sure of the model. They were good except fogged with a lower face mask. Also I didn't really feel like they offered the best and safest seal. Got the Pyromex I-Force now because Novritsch. Haven't used them in the field yet
