Use the next one up. Abbey Predator for average weather conditions. Unless 20+ degrees then use something weaker like the 144a. This will help the weapon cycle crisper and should give better fps. Not sure how big a deal this will have on range and accuracy. I have the brass nub and yeah its good. Deffo recommend heavier bbs .28 is what I have been using but about to test some .32 Geoffs supers. TBH I don't get the absolute best in class range but it isn't bad either and it is consistent with good accuracy. Best tracer BBs for MWS/GBB? Hey all slightly off topic but you all know your stuff on bbs here and it is related to my MWS. So I want to use tracers for CQB. Still need good accuracy for mix of indoor and outdoor so don't wanna go below .25. Was ideally looking for .28 but anyway my questions are about the quality of tracer ammo. I know the heavier BBs are the softer they get and so I want to make sure I don't fuck my nozzle. From what I can see are tracers lower quality than normal polished BBs? Both the Abbey and Geoff non bio. Don't offer their highest grade in tracer. But that might just be to do with the polishing. Also why do Goeffs only come in heavy tracers that are Bio. I know you all swear by it but I am never touching Bios in my GBBR.

Okay so the bolt shouldn't hold open but it should stop after the last round. There is a little tab on the top left that you need to pull to the rear. If it is sticking straight up it disables the bolt stop on the mag to allow dry fire, but when to the rear the mag follower will trigger the bolt stop

I have heard second hand that they would be a terrible Idea for GBB mags and could cause damage The TM one is great. It basically has a little adapter that swings and enables you to load a GBB mag

Just for the multiple people asking about power and stuff. Feel free to play about with the bits that you are. But I am running completely stock internals besides the SixG number from @Davegolfand the thing is about 310-330fps on .20 temp dependant. The sites I play chronological on Joules so not much point in me trying to increase the FPS in anyway. Really would just say play a few games with it standard and see how you get on.

Think my Hop rubber is very slightly uneven since installing the SixG nub? Should I just reseat the bucking?

I have personally just done the sixG nub and haven't messed with any other internals. bearing in mind I am a noob to this but I am very happy so far.

All my sites take weight into consideration with chrono so it will always have to travel slower but yeah I can use slightly stronger gas. Yeah I supposed are the Devils any good compared with Geoffs. I never considered them as cheap and it Is what I use at the moment.

So I know you guys love your heavier bbs. How heavy would you guy on a stock gun, besides the super six G nub? I am not fucking around with buffers, nozzles or bcgs to get better FPS but yeah how heavy to go before too slow? I am toying with .30 or .32 after having played a few games with .28 Also which brand? I know you all love your Geoffs. I currently use ASG blaster but I am worried at heavier weights they my be too soft. Finally. If Geoffs. where is the best place to get them. And why are they so much better?

If by block 1 you mean the 14.5 inch MWS then yes it is 14mm CCW. I assume that all the other models would all be the same as well.

Forget all that stuff I mentioned about bad range, I am clearly just a poor judge of distance. I am getting about 50-60m with abbey predator. Actually effective range 40-50m It was very nice playing with it today. Lots of kills and left a few welts on the enemy. One guy even complained that I shot him too close in the face with a "bolt action"... For reference it was about 12- 14 degrees C during chrono and it was doing 270FPS on .28s with Abbey Ultra Predator. Loved using this gun today!

It is deffo hopping them all but occasionally. not even every other shot. It will over hp a little but that was limited testing with mags low on gas so not sure. Every other was a bit of an exaggeration. But yes basically it is hopping the bbs so in theory if I am not getting range that shouldn't be a hop issue really. that should all be lined up fine. I will try heavier

Just watches this and it makes me have some questions doubts about my own haha. So as you probably know I am an angry gun outer barrel and had some hop issues fitting it. But now thats fine, been sorted and it will over hop .28 with the sixG nub. But I feel my range is more 30-40m than anywhere close to 50-60m. Now whenever you add other parts obviously there is this risk. Now my actual question is this. if I want it to, It will over hop the .28s so in theory the hop is now working perfectly. Could there be another factor in the outer barrel change that is effecting my range? Disclaimer. I have only tried .2s, which had awful range on a windy day .28s which performed a lot better but every other shot would over hop when the others were fine, meh.

Yeah no worries, I have just finished this last week so was eager to tell all. Join the L119 owners club on Facebook as they are really friendly and have techs on there too. Also checkout thereptilehouse blog on their L119A2 builds if you do want to get it super close to the real thing.

Hey so I can speak from recent experience. Similar to you I wasn't concerned with 100% total accuracy, I just wanted to general look of an L119A2 and I substituted some items for practical reasons. Short answer: Yes it is perfectly doable. Long answer: I got my first GBBR (MWS) in January and just finished converting it to an L119A2. Payed my first game with it just last week. And it was amazing. Let's go tip to butt. Muzzle & Barrel: I went with the Angry gun SF216A suppressor and flash hider. Nice thing about this is it is QD. You can also make small modifications to fit some small pistol tracers in the can. I matched this with an Angry gun 10" inch L119A2 outer barrel. Now here is an important bit. The Angry Gun outer barrel doesn't play nicely with the TM hop unit and you have to modify the outer barrel slightly to get it to fit and to get the hop working. You have to do some small filing. Or you could opt for the Angry gun hop unit but I wanted to keep the TM. I am not sure how this has effected performance as I was never able to test my stock MWS at long range. I am getting about 40- 50 meters effective range on .28s and no other mods except the Six G nub which will hop heavier bbs if I want. Next I have the Angry Gun short L119A2 rail, notice the AG theme here. Important to note you don't have to get the Angry gun barrel for this to fit as some other barrels out there will fit with the rail. But the TM stock outer barrel isn't compatible with the rail without a modified PTS adapter ring. Grips and rail attachments: I have the Magpul AFG, I have seen a lot of people running stubby grips and thats fine but I personally prefer the AFG. It looks the part, but really go with either a stubby vert grip like the BCM or the Magpul RVG if you are more comfortable with them. I tried both the AFG and RVG and returned the RVG. Magpul RSA sling attach point. Just the normal RSA not the QD but get whatever works for your sling. Cheap ladder rail covers, Element brand I think. Optics: Here we have the first non L119A2 part. I went with a Holosun HS403C classic in FDE. I actually ordered this before I wanted to do an L119 build but I don't regret it. It auto adjusts brightness based on it's solar panel and it has very little parallax. You could absolutely go with cheaper replica red dots but I love the look of the Holosun. It looks very T1 ish but different and the FDE is great. Also as it is designed to work with real firearms it holds zero and is durable enough for games. I also got the guns modify T1 sight protector as this fits fine and protects this pricey sight from bbs. Pistol Grip and butt stock: I went with the PTS EPG, again ordered this before I knew I wanted to do an L119 but it looks ok and is comfortable. I mainly wanted an affordable FDE grip and this does the job. The CTR Stock in FDE is fantastic. It Is one of my fave pieces on the gun and is accurate to L119A2 builds. Paired with a Magpul MS3 with QD point it is very practical too. I would caveat all of this by saying I didn't actually put the gun together myself. I did everything except the barrel and hand guard as getting it on in a way that fits with the outer barrel and hop situation, as well as getting the rail not to rotate, was difficult without a Vice and correct tools. So I paid a guy locally from the L119A2 Owners club on Facebook groups. Highly recommend joining that group if you want to do this build. Don't worry they're not all elitists. My biggest comment with this whole thing is that for an L119A2 there just aren't a lot of brands doing all the parts at the moment. You are very reliant on Angry Gun and their QC is hit and miss. I am still a bit annoyed I never tested the thing pre angry gun parts but it is performing okay. Just would be nice to know if they are effecting performance. However a if you don't care about the small details like ambi selector and charging handle. Most of the accessories are third party off the shelf things that go with most SF M4 builds. The rail and short barrel are really wet give it the L119A2 look.
