Experiments with two sets. First one is soft posture and motorised, quite light setup, mostly Arktis Crossrig with WAS pouches coupled with a WAS battle belt with mostly Arktis pouches. Second one is dismounted long range/deep recce, heavier setup with OD PLCE attached to a BHI OD LBV to boost ammo capacity. Pics taken at Red Alert (Newbury) by the immensely talented Dan Wiltshire. P.S. No googles because no game, mags were empty, RIF was cleared by the photographer himself.

Up, because I'm wondering about the same thing, I've made a mess of my hop-up because I used a homemade bore snake. thinking of changing it but eyeing a precision barrel if there is such a thing.

Just old school stuff. A guccied up PLCE thanks to the addition of a BHI LBV. Snow cam is a Bundeswehr lo-tech poncho. FAMAS is 20 year old+ *Edit* Pictures by Daniel Wiltshire

Back when I was shooting at things and people for a living, I had the following setup: - a Jayjay's MC belt kit - a mesh vest with slanted MOLLE loops on the torso rather than the H-yoke. I had picked that config for field work when we were not issued the Osprey, and before being issued Virtus. And I had taken inspiration from former instructors who also had an airborne background and had attached a US woodland LBV-88 to their DPM PLCE belt kit. I've come full circle now.

Yeah, I just took my optics from my HK and put them on the Famas, and you're absolutely right, it is too high and I had to compensate for it. I'm looking at a Chinese ACOG clone to use instead.

Last game at Red Alert (Newbury), pictures by Dan Wiltshire. Great day, great game. 20+ year old Famas coming out of retirement after 15 years of being in a basement. Luke Dobson slapped it back into shape and it ran fiiiiine.

This is an issue I tried to weigh in on when I was in the Forces. The fact is, decades after female personnel were allowed to serve, despite them seeing combat during the GWOT, and years after they were allowed into combat arms, the kit, including PPE, is still designed with the male body in mind. A prime example of unconscious bias that could literally cost lives. The only purpose made body armour for female I've ever seen was from a female friend whose father's girlfriend was a bodyguard, and she inherited it and was skirmishing with it in the early 2000s. However. Soft inserts (foam yoga mats cutouts) in body armour covers/plate carriers will follow her body shape without too much restrictions.

Same game as the Captain, pics by Daniel Wiltshire, going back to my og team's camo. Had a great day with great team mates. And those accusations of war crimes are ludicrous.

Noted for the wash temp. Quality is great. The kneepads are better built (sturdiness) than my Arktis trousers'. -
