  1. GBB guns mash up BIOs usually
  2. Gas is stored in a liquid state. The tube limits the amount of liquid to leave space for gas, which is what you fire the BB with, firing with liquid doesn't work too well! By all means shorten the tube - but leave the tube longer than the fill valve, you'll have increased capacity and retain shot consistency
  3. There is no harm in shortening the TM barrel but you'll need it to be crowned, you can't just hack it off with a saw That said being so short a 6.03 would help keep the FPS up. I would keep the 6.05 for a longer high FPS build
  4. @RobHedley I would advise against using BIO BBs in any GBB gun unless it is stipulated by the site, BIOs are generally softer and not strong enough to put up with the abuse a GBB dishes out during the rather violent loading process. Try running some more powerful gas, that will help with hop and BB weight. The MWS is pretty robust and will tolerate powerful gas.
  5. Assuming that if you push down the release button the spring pops out but you cannot remove it from the buffer tube?
  6. Because of the way a GBB works it will always automatically adjust the volume based on BB weight and barrel length. The floating valve works on pressure differential. Basically you will have no adverse affects running a short barrel
  7. Some of the aftermarket hop chambers allow the use of longer Nubs but otherwise there's no real performance gain.
  8. You wont lose any accuracy in the gun running a different rail and barrel adapter. You can remove the FSP and fit a gas block as done a few posts back. The gas tube serves no purpose but you need either a FSP or gas block to retain the RAS mounting ring. Either that or you completely ditch the RAS setup and fit a free float rail system.
  9. 1. Gun oil, silicone grease, service wrench for barrel and stock nut, gas valve key. 2. Yes milspec diameter. 3. No 4. Yes 5. Pretty much with an adapter ring 6. Tightens groupings and improves consistency regardless of BB weight, can hop heavier ammo which is great outdoors for maximum effective range. Enjoy the Gas 😁
  10. MWS has a Milspec dia buffer tube, I'm assuming you're saying the thread is different though?
  11. You can get folding front sight posts, but as @Jimmeh stated, a red dot / holo sight is intended to be used with both eyes open, if you are looking at your target the dot is essentially super imposed in your vison, you will not notice the FSP. I oesnt take much googling to see the vast quantity of active duty RS CQBR's running Eotechs (which run low), other sights like the Aimpoints sit higher, I find higher better if wearing goggles personally.
  12. I know we all mod the sh1t out of the looks of these, but as they go I think the TM CQBR looks and feels fantastic straight OTB. If anything they only niggle is the slightly slack buttstock, but it still looks right on. Enjoy @RobHedley
  13. Bullseye country sport for Modify Bucking PN GB-05-62
  14. The Super Nub will fit any AEG, in conjunction with a standard TM or similar AEG bucking.
  15. Could have bought my pimped TM that's new! Full daddy internals and hard ano slide, get a frame and its perfection!
  16. If you want an all round usable range for the MWS abilities and Recoil, I've said before - the Nikko Stirling Diamond 1-4 is a short dot that is way nicer than the Vision Kings etc at the price point. Seriously the clarity, field of vision and eye relief is incredible. https://www.uttings.co.uk/p122015-nikko-stirling-30mm-diamond-1-4x24-ir-rifle-scope-ndsi1424/#.XL4K1YF4XYU Ive owned a few ACOG reps and this one hands down the best clarity etc, and the fibre is really good. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Woltis-Style-Optical-Illumination-Source/dp/B01GFSFFY6 If you game style is faster paced and you want a red dot then whatever really for reps, personally I'd buy a RS red dot Or add a doctor to the ACOG/Shortdot I love the Spectre DR but not found a decent rep, most have off axis sights, poor adjustment etc.
  17. @RoninHun welcome! I think the MOE handguards make for a great lightweight setup, plus there's no RIS to snag on everything!
  18. Welcome! They are a fine toy for sure If you are staying at 328 FPS limit then all you need is a Super Nub and a 250mm barrel, that will get the best range and accuracy at that power level. The Modify bucking isn't essential, a healthy TM one is excellent. Spend a little time with some fine wet&dry paper to smooth the hop unit loading ramp. Generally inspect, smooth, clean and grease/lube the whole action. Cycle the mags - load and unload them a good many times with not so expensive BBs to get everything moving nicely. The aim of all this is to make it so all the parts that interact with the BB do not leave any marks or dents which otherwise affect the BBs aerodynamics and therefore your shot consistency, which in turn is accuracy. Use high quality 0.36 or more BBs
  19. Imagining @[Rogues]Loki trying to stealth refill inside an opposition building 😆
  20. Why do you want silent filling? Marui valves dont have O rings. Its easier to fill the Marui valves as they let expelled air out when gas goes in, so they fill faster, plus you know 100% when they are full as they burp out liquid.
  21. You'll never look back
