  1. Sounds like a worn or over lubed bucking, or nozzle binding in bolt.
  2. I'm reliably informed these parts are made from a carbon composite by people who do aerospace carbon work so one would assume they're solid
  3. No I wouldn't bastardise anything RDB rest easy! Il machine a whole new lump to go in there 😉
  4. I was hoping to run an integrated one, keeps everything clean, I really like the Klarus stuff, may have to machine an adapter. So chuffed, my airsoft SMG dreams are complete! PDW for DMR Backup SMG Kriss for CQB Gaming SMG
  5. Oh yeh your the drum mag queen! Havnt taken this down yet, is the bolt marked CQB? Any experiences with torches? Love a strobe lol
  6. Yeh I saw another thread you were explaining to a guy about the semi sear. Will have a look see. Green is hot enough at 330fps so that's cool. Thanks for that 👍 Will need 2 more mags. Whats the best functioning pouches for the long mags?
  7. Can't stop handling it 😍 As soon as I'm back from working away I need to go CQB! Is there anything I should be aware of with this that I've overlooked? Must do maintenance or 'keep an eye on'?
  8. Bought myself membership this week, SO VERY HAPPY! Have been on the fence for years because I was torn between the utterly crap performance of anything I've ever owned by KWA and the pull of a GAS powered Vector. Friggin love SMGs and GBB(R) guns, so this was always lusted after. Read and watched a ton of media on these, tried out Krytacs (zero arousal) and though you only live once, and I'm so damn happy that it shoots so accurately out to 50M, that's all I ever want in a CQB gun. This finish and controls are lovely and it's all rock solid, feel lucky to have found a boxed, one owner, unmodified example, and for this to be the first gun I don't feel needs upgrading, that's so refreshing. Chuffed!
  9. Difficulty is relative, do find changing a lightbulb difficult or rebuilding an engine? Seriously though MWSs in particular are pretty easy to swap out parts on, there is a wealth of 'how toos' on Youtube etc. The most important thing is remember what order things came apart and keep everything organised and safe. Furthermore it's good practice to know how to strip down your BCG on a GBBR for basic service and maintenance
  10. Backwards pokey rod stick, assuming bb stuck in the barrel?
  11. Soz yes the Super Nub performs best with conventional mound buckings like the TM one
  12. I'd just get a spring set - "if it ain't broke don't fix it", the TM nozzles etc are all good / don't have a track record of cracking etc and fit perfectly obv
  13. The likes of silicone and soft rubber buckings are only really any use in the very cold. They are not tough enough to put up with the shear mechanical rogering they get from GBBRs They work best in bolt action rifles due to the gentle seating/insertion of the loading nozzle. Stock TM buckings and PDI (which do not work in the MWS for the record) are best suited to GBB guns. The only real benefit of the Modify and some other silicone / soft buckings is better shot consistency through better bucking-to-loading-nozzle sealing, which gives a more consistent FPS. So that improves shot consistency on the vertical plane. This can also be achieved by seating the nozzle more firmly into the bucking with a stronger Recoil spring or HSB Spacer. There is negligible improvement over a stock TM bucking on the horizontal plane.
  14. It's stays on 'fairly' well if properly degreased with brake cleaner or 2k thinners. Ive used Krylon and Humbrol on Cerakote, it should only come off when scratched and not in big flakes. Make sure to do a dust coat and let it fully Gas out, then make sure your subsequent coats are thin and with a good 20mins between coats.
  15. Excellent! New site that is not power cut 😃
  16. Such great boots, I'm on my 4th pair in 6 years. Use them pretty much 24/7. Nice scenery!!
  17. You are correct, black is for 0c gaming, if you need more FPS change out the floating valve and/or increase barrel length
  18. If there's a metal sharp at the end of the buffer tube that's clearly what's done it in. The HSB spacer helps to reduce the impact at the end of the travel with high power gas The standard TM parts are generally all upto spec
  19. You really need to check your Recoil spring is good, when you say 1500 rounds, is that from new? But really a stiffer Recoil spring, or a HSB spacer in combination with the standard (healthy) spring Also worth checking for any sharps or randoms inside the buffer tube.
  20. Wow! What Gas you been using and how many rounds has that gun fired?
  21. @Seth_Erebor new CQB!!?? What, where, is it going to be bigger than a postage stamp and have proper buildings?
  22. That looks smart for sure, I think I'd get annoyed with things hooking up on that stock in the field tho. And completely null for us softers but you'll need a much longer gas tube / gas block way down the barrel
