  1. Yes I appreciate the mechanics of a real one, but AFAIK there's nothing off the shelf, it could be done custom though at cost.
  2. That's never going to work as Recoil buffer spring lives in stock tube! Real folding ARs have a special bolt assy.
  3. Nice, firing DMR fps?
  4. All legit mag pouches work fine as they are made to carry real weighted mags not plastic mags...full of plastic balls Esstac are great for open/quick access/reliable retention. Equal to HSGI, although TACOs can hold a variety of mags, and release with less of a tug, however Esstac can be easier to reinsert a mag due to them staying open - I mean TACOs close up some when empty. I prefer Esstac and Tacos on a rig. That said WAS pouches with bungee retention tops are super fast, have zero drag and less bulk. With belts you don't want to have to pull the mag hard to release. Hope you've got a Velcro inner / rigger outer belt combo, 4 mags on your hips is going to move around a lot otherwise! PS I've got a ton of WAS Coyote pouches I need to shift.
  5. I can't wait but it's been a hell of a wait already!! My MP5 is getting withdrawals
  6. More heat, reciever in vice, very sturdy spanner. Youll want to remove the ejection port cover so as to reduce chance of damaging it with heat, or marking it in the vice.
  7. @Cipher-032 I've used the Dynamic Precision one before without any issues. Not intentionally, it came with one other the many MWS ive bought. The standard TM seal does great, whatever you use keep all your BCG seals lubed up with silicone grease 👍 Also RE nozzle return springs, I think the life of the springs is affected heavily by these factors; 1. Hop bucking used; some hop rubbers grip the nozzle to tightly putting excess stress on the spring being held fully extended for longer with each shot cycle 2. High power gas relative to ambient temp causing the spring to be extended to full length extremely quickly.
  8. I made a steel pin spanner as even some 'real' spanners are a bit cheesey. You definitely need heat, and you definitely need to hold the upper reciever in a vice with soft jaws.

Very clean boxed original example, fully functional, only run on green - hasnt really been used. Has only been skirmished once, the plastics are unmarked, the steel base plate has a scratch. Comes with 4 mags, 1 weeps from the fill valve, probably because of lack of use. Has the one bolt on side RIS panel. Have added genuine XTM panels, works really well for gun hold and mag release/mag catch manipulation. Included Tamiya ceramic grease. Price is firm, buyer covers fees and delivery if required - cos im sure i would want it sent insured! Located in Ashford, Kent

  10. Apologies thought you'd posted that up previous, hopefully they are made from a less fragile material too
  11. Had quite a few Modify Tan failures now, the material seems to tear easily. @Whisky1 you only mentioned the Mod X to be accurate at 35M so far, has this improved? Standard TM with Super Nub give effective 50M+ The Mod tan with Super Nub improved on that effective range by giving slightly better gas consistency, so better shot placement consistency on the vertical plane.
  12. @Asomodai you saying you wouldn't pick @Albiscuit for a ride if you had the choice? Bad company, bad car?? 😂

Hi, looking for an upper handgaurd / gas tube for a Real Sword Type 56, let me know what you have thanks! Not bothered if it's wood or plastic I only want to use the gas tube

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

  14. They don't really need upgrades, but it's well supported now that it's been out for a while if you're that way inclined. Why do you want to re thread the reciever? Accepts many rail and RS milspec stocks out the box. Beat me @Wo1f! but carrying on, VSR buckings are better for GBB than AEG too, take more nozzle insertion beasting and give a better seal.
  15. Mmmmm excitement at home! Thanks for people's AK insights, so chuffed with this build wise, the finish and fit really is lovely, nice that even the little bits are machines not cast from pot metal! Also maintenance guide and the tools to do it included!
  16. @RossF Be careful, it may not identify as a he or she 😱
  17. Probably the SixG nub causing issues 😂 No seriously work backwards, with stock parts until your problem is rectified, then go forward again with the knowledge of the what part has caused your problem, you can then tune that part to actually work. As said by @RossF the MPA is a prime culprit, once you start messing with gas volumes and timing it creates all sorts of fun things to tune out - put the stock nozzle back in and test again.
  18. What FPS was his sniper? C02 runs at much higher pressures so I can see where he's coming from but back on green gas etc you don't really want to limit it, and longer barrels hurt accuracy in airsoft.
  19. Have you ever moved your buffer tube before? Have you removed the buffer and spring, are they in good condition and slide freely down the buffer tube? Also the buffer bumper/plunger. What FPS is it shooting at? Is the piston seal in good order / lightly silicone greased?
  20. Just sign up to UKASA Clearly missed this one, WTF were you attempting to do!?
  21. @rocketdogbert Didn't you just trade yours away lol!?
