Site owners can make their own rules, it's their 'business' and if theft was an issue it might cause their customers to go elsewhere. my local site has banned projectile grenades for H&S reasons, which doesn't seem to be an issue, if theft was prevelant at any business I attended then I wouldn't feel my property was safe to be left unattended & I would take measured to protect it, mud sticks and this thread kinda proves it in my eyes. Opinions are like arseholes... everyone has one. Mine is, I'm in favour of a ban if it's warranted, I'm not a site owner so my opinion only affects me.

The simple answer is for sites to ban their use, might not be 'customer' friendly but reduces the risk of theft of that kind of item, people will either ignore it, hand it to a marshal or some opportunist might think...cool, finder keepers. Personally I'm in favour of a ban, whether that is enforced before any accusation or after is for site owners to decide.

They managed to convert muzzle loaders to breech loading in 1865ish so it'll be possible to convert a Denix in2023 (well outwith my skillset tho).

Why? I've worked in retail for nearly 40 years & 'friends, colleagues & customers' get caught stealing. in other words, anyone is capable of theft, but not everyone will.

No good, I tried this & got a slap after the first 15 compressions.

I'll assume anything in contact with your skin will cause aggrivation so maybe something like this... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313213420144 could help? it means buying a fast helmet too but it's practical, airsoft safe & non contact (plus a cool factor you could modulate to your hearts content). is there any materials that you can wear without causing irritation, silk, cotton etc? you might find a snood type cover could help too.

The site shows 328 FPS +/- 10% is expected for the model you have. so no... it's not normal.

Been a First aider in my work for nearly 20 years now, all because a colleague had a seizure close to the end of our shift, I only had my basic TA training from over a decade previously and managed to help/avoid the situation worsening then realized there were no first aiders on our nightshift. You've already raised a concern with a marshall, if you're not satisfied with the reply on the lack of action taken then take your money elsewhere, it might be worth making them away why (without sounding like a Karen of course)

I asked a similar question but about bb weights a few weeks ago, I'm sure lots of the replies I got will answer any questions you have.

Do you have pouches they'll fit in? I struggled with my m4 type mags(even the double mag pouches), so got some from the classifieds on here.

If you're worried about storing them, rather than stripping them, why not simply add a few light squirts of silicone oil using the ' extension tube' into the gearbox via any opening & in the nozzle? I don't know if it would solidify over time but it would preserve the moving parts & you could strip & clean it off easily enough when you want to use the rif's again.
