  1. Thankfully my local is pretty harsh on that sort of thing. You get a warning followed by the boot if you start lifting your eyepro mid game.
  2. I'll have to look into them, I think the main issue I've come into is that the handguard I have has fuck all space compared to the new MCX they're selling with the MLOK handguard. I did previously have a PEQ box on there but I prefer having my DBAL on there for that CT clone correct look. I've swapped back to it for now so I can field the RIF but I may have to look at getting a new handguard that fits a battery in it! The chap I bought this off included 5 EPM mags with it so I've got plenty of mags that work with it thankfully! I can definitely attest for them being the best mags I've used. I was using Ares Pmags before which look great but they sometimes just decide to fall out of my RIF if I don't push them in hard enough!
  3. Anyone else not getting email notifications from the messenger?

(If you've messaged me about buying something I'm not being ignorant I just can't see it!)

  4. Afternoon all, I've recently picked up a Legacy MCX with the short keymod handguard. Does anyone know what size LiPos are best for this? Previous owner was running a mock PEQ, but I'd prefer to have the battery inside the handguard as God VFC intended. The stick battery I've been using in the buffertube of my L119 doesn't fit too well so it's likely got to be some other shape (Or I just have a fat stick battery) Cheers in advance, Gryph
  5. What did it cost total? A general rule of thumb is 70% of the original cost. This looks in pretty good nick so I think 70% of the cost should be fine

I'm just a fan of the ARVO look on the G36. Granted that's becoming less common as more forces are moving away from the 36, but it looks slick AF
  7. Welcome back to the hobby, mate!

Honestly I think it should be a crime. Straight to jail if your G36 doesn't have a carry handle
  9. Afternoon mate, welcome to the forums ?

The 36 without a carry handle makes me feel really uncomfortable
  11. Well that's me sold then... I've got a few Fjallraven shirts and they are unbelievably comfortable for camping etc... Cheers gents!
  12. Anyone got a pair of these? Been trying to pick some up secondhand but I'm built like gumby and would appreciate a review before I buy a pair full price!
  13. AVOID! Scammer - replied to a wanted post I made and gave me his "mate's" whatsapp number. Payment sent but item never shipped, thank God for Paypal G&S...

I wasn't even remotely joking when I said that at this point I'd assume anyone responding to a wanted ad is a scammer until comprehensively demonstrated otherwise.

G&S is good, getting a PayPal invoice from them is gooder.

Out of interest, how long did you wait before raising the dispute?

I did end up getting lucky and had a lovely chap reply to a wanted post and actually ship me the item which was shocking!

Out of interest what's the difference between the two?

I think I waited around a week until it got very clear that it was a load of bollocks and that the RIF was never coming, but I got the refund in full within I think three hours which was good

  14. Preach! I think that the nuprol battery I bought as a newbie fell apart ?
  15. I had a lad on here trying to scam me even though I used goods and services. It was definitely an interesting one to see him going from feeding me all sorts of BS to going completely silent when I got my cash back ?
  16. I think that this is effectively just so CPS can charge for (more) offences if someone gets a two-tone and paints it and uses it in an armed robbery/aggravated burglary.
  17. I always love the look of matching trousers and carrier/rig. I fuck with the setup, dude.
  18. I've treated myself to some Vans MTE-2s in the January sales, some decent savings on them. They're more trainer style and I've hard a lot of good things
  19. That looks neat as hell. Kinda reminds me of the WA2000, albeit a bit more modernised. I always loved that rifle...
  20. Unfortunately there aren't any M1.8s there. I'm not entirely sure that the screw was measured correctly at the fasteners I took it to, so I'm going to go to another one on Monday and see what they say. I've spoken to a mate who's told me that M1.8 isn't a standard measurement so I'm thinking something's gone wrong somewhere! Cheers though, Accu looks like a useful site to have for future reference!
  21. Hey all, The mag release screw on one of my AEGs has broken. I've taken it to a fastener shop and he's measured it for me so I know that I need an M1.8 screw with a length of 6mm, but I have no idea where I can get one from. I can find them online but they're all self taping and I don't really want to bore into part of my mag release! Anyone know where I can get one from? I've tried the usuals (amazon, ebay, etc...) and local model and fastener shops with no luck. I can find smaller and bigger but no M1.8s! Cheers, Gryph
  22. Looking good mate!
  23. Pics in the reviews seem to suggest that they're the genuine article
  24. Policy where I work is that motorcycle helmets need to be removed in every collision so that you can open airways etc... There is a method to this that I won't get in to for berevity. The summary of the reasoning is that if you somehow kill them by removing the helmet, then chances are they'll have been dead regardless and it's better to do something to help, than stand and let someone die. Primary function of a bobby is preservation of life which is pretty hard to do if you can't clear someone's airways. I'm sort of reiterating what Poncho's said above there though. That's totally fair, I suppose it's horses for courses at the end of the day, our first aid training isn't as good as yours because it's not our primary function (I do think that there should be a bigger focus on it though, personally) and you guys have much better kit for saving lives. Our first aid kits are pretty shocking to be honest with you, we've only recently had our cars issued with AEDs and CATs!
  25. You're absolutely right, bobbies are never off duty. When it comes to the practical side though it's a bit trickier - most people won't use their powers off duty unless it's to save life or limb because it generally causes more harm than good, especially with what's been going on in the news recently!
