  1. In true AK style , much hammering , bashing took place , but also progress .
  2. which is fair enough because the retail price has been cut too . However … retailers explaining this to the end user seems to be non existent , which irks me . has anyone on here actually seen one though ? Or got one ? Some actual pictures of the externals & internals wouldn’t go amiss 👍🏼
  3. very helpful , and for the internals that certainly explains the price difference . Am I going mad or is there literally zero reviews , images or proper details out there on these ?
  4. most woodland games I’ll run a chest rig and a pistol on the trouser belt , usually a split front chest rig so if you end up prone for a while you can split the front for a bit more comfort , these types usually give a decent bit of wrap as well so utility stuff ends up under the armpits but with most of the weight forward lower back pain can come on strong . Belt kits have their place for long extended games and especially if you need to carry a pack too , but if you spend a lot of time prone again it can be awkward for the reach around ( ooh err ) really depends how much you need to carry , I run Mid & low caps , usually 6 on the rig & one in the gun and like moving around so need to carry enough , but also get to them quite quickly and a belt kit bouncing around doesn’t do it for me. I’ll say this as well , and it may sound odd but a well fitted plate carrier with some actual weight in it ( dummy or real weighted plates ) is way more comfortable for extended use than a nylon bag with foam in it and all your oddments scattered over it .
  5. Guess it depends what you need to carry really , where and for how long ? imo there’s no better weight distribution than a well fitting plate carrier , but if you are spending most of your time on your belly in the woods then a belt kit makes more sense .
  6. so are they just completely blank ? No one seems to have any images online 🤷🏼‍♂️
  7. Can anyone explain to me the difference between a VFC GBBR and VFC GBBR “EU VERSION” which seem to be a bit cheaper ? I’ve emailed two retailers both of which have just ignored me and thus ignored my money 😛 M733 - https://highpressureairsoft.co.uk/products/vfc-m733-gbbr-rifle-cybergun-colt-licensed Flat top EU Version https://highpressureairsoft.co.uk/products/vfc-vr933-gbbr-eu-version i don’t seem to be able find anything online , is it a trademark thing ? IE the EU version is a blank receiver ?
  8. yeah , the A&K are ok , a bit rough round the edges and I think zero trademarks , there’s some Double Bell versions around too , but I prefer the OG LR300 look , had the G&G carbine version when it was released many moons ago but Milsim stuff took over so it went to the great classifieds in the sky . This popped up , mint in the box from another old geezer collector and the nostalgia kicked in 😂💪🏼 This one had the tube folding stock which I was never a fan of , so the ace stock is in place till I can find a decent copy of the collapsible folding version .
  9. lovely ! I remember them well … which means I’m old , but not old enough to forget just yet . But to clarify , I ment the first run of G&G Gr300 series (around 15yrs ago ? ), I think they did a later run which was a bit watered down on the trademarks ?
  10. I have another wall for “open display” I just rotate them depending on what the flavour of the week is 😝
  11. Gridwall + Gridwall hooks - Easy 👍🏼😎
  12. Some bits for an ongoing LCT 74 project , grip & black magazine , everything else is on its way from Redwolf , Ehobbyasia and WGC shop …. so on the bench it stays ….. Tune back in next year 😂
  13. https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/59162-systema-ptw-built-and-modified-by-tac/ hey guys , so I massively overpaid by about £600-£700 for a broken shagged out PTW and then had to spend another £700 getting it sorted , so I’m here to pass that massive mistake on at a slight profit to myself , grab a bargain 🤦🏼‍♂️
  14. Short eye relief is a by product of a prism scope , even the genuine ones .
  15. Yes , it’s just a shim / washer to take up the slack .
  16. Waiting on the postie for that new crye rig to drop on the mat
  17. The spare plate is a converter for the Norotos one hole or three hole shroud .
  18. Just poor QC on either the rail or mount , it happens , if there is no way of adjusting the clamp then a couple of layers of tape of tape or some sticky foam on the underside of the scope mount will sort it.
