    Hi All,

My friend and I are starting to play and would like to gat a UKARA membership.

I understand the 3 games 56 day rule at same site, however my question is....can we play at other sites during this period with rental gear still?

So for example we would like to play at Red Alert Newbury, however our local site is Gunman Eversley which is where we would like to do our 3 games for UKARA. We cant get to eversley until next month due to work commitments, so can we play at Newbury before hand then go to Eversley to start our 3 game period next month?

    Hope that makes sense.

    Cheers

    Yes.

UKARA is needed to able to buy RIF's without two-tone from online retailers but UKARA isn't needed to own any replica or buy used ones. At least to my knowledge.

Most likely that's what's happening, you could look inside for white marks.

Yep, Airsoft tolerances and all that. The longer the suppressor, the more likely it is to not actually line up properly.

    Cheers both of you.

This may have been sorted earlier, but I cannot find the resolution to the issue in the post.

My MP5 throws a red light every 3 to 4 shots in the dry fire mode/bolt stop mode, on a 1100mah 20cc 7.4v lipo.

Any suggestions on what I could do before taking it to a shop?

Mine started to do the same thing not long ago and battery charger struggles to charge it without error messages so I'd say that's a battery issue. Probably damaged cables or cells. It's not difficult to ruin it it's so little space in the handguard.

  3. Majority of the tracers are gonna do the same job but some able to eat both red and green bb's or have added features like muzzle flash and stuff like that. And ofc some look cooler than others.

    Acetech makes good tracers usually.

I only spent decent money on my olight pistol light. For any other gun I had I just put a very cheap repo x300 because for airsoft purposes it does the job (for me at least).

  4. I use oshiboom and I never had other bfg's so I can't form an opinion on it but I see that many people struggle to kill others regardless of brand simply because all of these impact grenades have the same issues. Lot of times they don't go off and it doesn't matter if you use the softest primer or the hardest surface. Because you're so limited how to post it you can't do too much about it.

I use mine in woodland, but only for clearing buildings in the site I play which are all solid brick/concrete floored buildings, I don’t wanna throw it in the open onto soft ground because I’ll never find it again!

I looked into softer primers previously, there was some confusion as to whether they were actually easier to set off or not whilst reading through actual gun forums talking about them. I’m using Fiocci 616s, the 615s are apparently softer but out of stock most places, I wonder if that’s why because they’re more consistent.  Will have a look at finding CCI/Federal ones to try.

As for the base, from the sounds of it I e got the hollowed out updated version so that’s nice \o/

regarding the mechanism annoyingly I can’t find a nice exploded diagram but here’s a pretty decent takedown

From my understanding the of how it works, the firing pin isn’t spring loaded. It’s just the weight on top wobbles around and that pushes a plate down which pushes on the firing pin. So the head has to be smacked about by the impact with enough force to drive the plate down and hit the firing pin into the blank. Which makes me think adding more weight to the head would possibly mean it’s pushing down with more force, or if I shim between the head and plate it’ll push it further with less effort so more reliable detonating? Maybe? Thinking about trying a socket that would fit over the top of it and see if the extra weight helps. Or if I could somehow open up the head, drill out the soft aluminium and fill it with some lead or something.

Someone told me that I could chip off some from the spring itself and I'm like nah I'm not gonna fuck up a 100 quid grenade for a maybe. 🧐

  6. Impact grenades aren't for woodland or soft surfaces. I think all of them have the same issue regarding not going off more or less.

My only solution is/was to buy softer primers. I had fiocchi before and struggled a lot even indoor. Bought cci/federal because someone recommended me in a shop and my bfg success rate is about 70-80% instead of 50 so this is what it is. 🤣

I'm certain you need a certain height/trajectory as well to make them more deadly. My bfg doesn't go off from ankle/kneecap height regardless what I do.

  7. You may need a plastic/kydex M4 mag insert so your mags are hold by friction. Those bungees can't be trusted in my experience.

I used this one for the last few years and you can put different fabric inserts into them. As an alternative.

I thought it was strange too that there's so few available anywhere. Can you approach TM directly for spares?

No chance. Makes me wonder if you can get parts in Japan from local shops at least.

I would expect that Eagle6 or Impulse101 stock them but it looks like Marui isn't bothered to provide. Funny thing is that they still make MP7's so it' not like discontinued.

I'd love to buy a Marui FNX-45 but the same thing again. Literally 0 spares for it... 😕

Yes, i've heard that getting the Laylax/FMA sling mount is a good idea to help reinforce the back of the RIF. I've read that some people have installed rubber pads/o-rings or similar behind the working parts to help absorb shock transferred to the back plate. I have seen the CNC back plate you're talking about but it's out of stock where I did see it.

As previously mentioned spares and repairs is also an area of concern. I've heard TM are hard to get parts for and when I had a look around, they appear to be mostly out of stock which I found strange considering how popular TM is. I'm guessing this is just because of how old the RIF is? WE on the other hand, appear to have plenty of spares on places like KYAirsoft. Thanks for the heads up about VFC spares if I do see one come up.

Altough the Marui MP7 is a really good gun I wouldn't jump into one because it's nearly impossible to get parts for it. It's quite ridiculous...

  10. Yes, biggest "issue" with the Marui MP7 that it's scaled to 90% of the real deal (if it bothers you).

I never owned either WE or Marui but I have a VFC and every MP7 has the same issue more or less. Simply that constant bashing to the rear is gonna either crack the receiver or make it to explode whatever inside. Stock backplate is gonna give in over time. To my knowledge there is only one solution: aftermarket cnc'd backplate and any picatinny sling mount around the charging handle to make it more rigid. Well, that's what I did.

I think getting spares for Marui is way more difficult. If I need anything VFC related, I can go to mlemart or wgcshop or any other HK based retailer. Yes, worst case scenario VFC itself but it takes time for sure.

Fifty-two great british pounds. Or, $486.02 HKD. Not a single thing fit properly or was even needed in the end (The USP wasn't saved by a new piston head, detent or hammer spring. Still light strikes a single time into venting out all the gas. Think the nozzle return spring's goosed because it doesn't flick back into place very authoritatively, and the new mag catch fits pretty awfully because I think they gave me a HK45CT one instead of the USP 9mm/full size 😐)

    Absolutely gutted.

Cocking handle's going if anybody needs or wants it. Will fit the VFC gas MP5 (obviously) and apparently one of the AEGs although not the one CYMA copied for the CM.041 (which this was to replace 😅)

If you're sure they managed to sent the wrong item contact them. Mlemart is quite decent in my opinion.

Hi everyone, I’m after a pistol to supplement my m4,

I like the look of the cz P09 and

I find the desert eagle too big and unwieldy can anyone else other pistols I can look at and research ?
    Thanks ! 😊

I think ASG is the only one who makes CZ replicas but I could be wrong. The new CZ P-10 C came out few months ago.

  13. Hm. Myself never used such services (I'm too stubborn and too tight) but you could ask Skirmish CQB based in Kirbky-in-Ashfield. Unless I'm wrong they charge 35 pounds service fee plus parts if needed.
