  1. My son loves his Firehawk, his first AEG, and I was interested to hear what you've done to yours. Please don't be offended by my comment but when AEG's like the Double Eagle M904G exist for around £140, with all the above as stock plus 20 more FPS and a quick change spring, I'd think I'd rather just replace the Firehawk with it.
  2. Did you have to think in Russian?... ... on a serious note though my son has a G&G Firehawk, stock apart from me replacing the amplifier (it still sound like dynamite going off with each shot though), what mods did you do?
  3. So, it looks like they're opening again post the second lock-down at the start of June 2021. I've been looking for an indoor site local to me for a while now, primarily due to the constant rain we've had in the south recently, and Z-Mart looks perfect (plus it sounds like I should fit in well with my AAP-01, drum mag and tracer). Edit: Well, that's odd, in that their website now looks different to how it did this morning and the dates in their calendar have vanished 🤨
  4. All of this is as clear as mud really isn't it 😡 The below provides no useful guidance that I can see for airsoft sites... https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/the-visitor-economy ... and according to the below... https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-spring-2021/covid-19-response-spring-2021-summary#step-3---not-before-17-may ... is airsoft acceptable from 12th April or 17th May? Is airsoft an "outdoor attraction" or "outdoor venue", what a nightmare for site owners.
  5. I've been using these... https://www.specs4sports.co.uk/evader-2-over-glasses-goggles--camo-frame-2117-p.asp ... and they fit with room to spare over my rectangular framed glasses and are vented so no fog (however the foam against your face isn't that robust and gets compressed quite easily).
  6. Probably not a worry for me, my original hammer is still good being a semi-only kind of guy, so I'll probably only swap it over for the improved OEM one once I've used the gun in a few more games.
  7. (I was tempted to post this in the Facebook AAP-01 group, but being UK based I thought here may be a little more sensible (and people seem like minded)) I use an AAP-01 as a primary, along with the Action Army stock + Armorer Works drum mag + a red dot, but with the rail kit being out of stock everywhere in the UK I'm think of pushing the button on a Black Mamba (I say "thinking" but I'll probably go ahead and buy one at the weekend anyhow and then regret it at my leisure). In my mind I'm thinking of the following as justifications... With just the stock, and the stumpy rail on it / the stock not being that long, I feel that the red dot is maybe too far back and I'd like it further forward. I've no bottom rail, so nowhere to put a grip which I'd quite like. If I did have the rail kit, and added a grip, I'm wondering if I'd be putting too much load on the outer barrel (I've heard of it "drooping" under excessive weight and the Black Mamba will prevent this). The site I go to most is semi only, so no problems with icing up on full auto, but I'm assuming that the Black Mamba will help with absorbing the cold. ... and I'm struggling to think of any negatives to the Black Mamba other than its cost?
