  1. I’ve had through my hands (at last count) 10 MP9’s, most of which were broken, so can make decent list of stuff you will need at some point. I’ll go through your list first: Part 153 (disconnector) - yes, very much needed. The main MP9 point of failure! Part 151 (hammer release) - not seen a standard one break, but if you get a steel hammer, then get this too WiiTech piston head - yes, but double check this doesn’t need to be used on the WiiTech piston chassis. Part 25 - not seen a broken one, I wouldn’t bother Nozzle springs - yes, get 2 sets! My recommendations: TNT Barrel set - so much better than the KWA hop unit WiiTech Steel Hammer (part 26) - standard ones snap at the sides, sometimes will still function, but best to change to steel. Plus it’s a pain to change, so get this and only do it once! WiiTech Steel Action Bar (trigger bar) - I have one on mine and makes the trigger pull much better WiiTech 130% Recoil spring - MP9’s can have issues if they don’t fully go into battery, this will solve that A CowCow/LPE/WiiTech piston head. Anything over the standard KWA piston head. They dry out and crumble. Beware there are 2 different sizes of pistons and piston heads, 14mm (orange) & 15mm (green), so work out which you have. If you already have a WiiTech nozzle I’d get the WiiTech piston chassis. The WiiTech nozzle will destroy the back of the chassis eventually. Also the WiiTech nozzle is very difficult/almost impossible to change the valve on…. Hope this helps. Enjoy the MP9, it’s such a little beast ?
  2. KWA’s hop up is somewhat finicky, can’t say I’ve had BB’s getting stuck in the hop though. If you are keeping it long term I’d recommend the TNT Hop & barrel kit, it’s a game changer for the MP9, will easily hop .4 and more, plus easier adjustment.
  3. Hey! The nozzle “sticking” won’t be the feed issue, that is just showing it’s got a good seal with the hop rubber. The bolt movement will ensure the nozzle comes free so don’t worry about that. For only feeding every other shot I’d check the mag feed lips first. I’ve found with certain mags and certain BB brands the BB can get caught on the part where the mag lip meets the mag. Remove the mag lip (2 pins) and gently file down the around the yellow highlighted parts to make sure its not sharp & has no burrs. Also do any sharp parts around the top of the lip while you are there, MP9’s can chew BB’s a little when loading due to the metal lips. If it’s still misfeeding after that I’d try a different brand of BB’s just to make sure. I found Excels tended to be slightly too small for the mag tract and would jam themselves up….
  4. I’ve put a standard 5.1 BBU in a 4.3, and a Guarder BBU in a 4.3 with no issues.
  5. Oooo, at last with the modern fire selector on the MP9! Will have to be special for me to get rid of the KWA version though….

    MP9 Misfiring

Hmmmm, ok, last things I can think of: Piston head, check its the correct size for the nozzle. MP9’s have 2 different size pistons/nozzles. If it’s been ever been replaced it could be the wrong one for the nozzle. More than likely it’s a green piston cup, with a thicker walled nozzle. But they also do an orange version with a thin walled nozzle. (you can slightly squish the thin one with your fingers, the thick one is much more difficult). It’s 1mm difference between the 2, so can lead to issues if it’s not correct. The only other thing I can think of for the issue of only firing 4-5 shots is the brand of BB’s you are using. I had an issue using Excel’s in my mags, they are ever so slightly smaller so were jamming after a few shots on the metal mag lip where it joins the base of the mag. Rectified by filing down the mag lip, or using different BB’s. I also just take any sharp edges off the rest of the mag lip to aid feeding, I have the WiiTech metal nozzle in mine and unless everything is smooth it can damage BB’s during the pick up.

    MP9 Misfiring

Can’t say I’ve seen that on any of mine so far, but things to check: Piston head: make sure it’s not damaged/deteriorating. May be the issue with gas leaking behind it so it’s getting excessive cooldown and only doing a few “full power” shots. Make sure the pins on rear of bolt are not backing out and slowing the bolt travel. Had this on one of mine when full-autoing. Also chewed my trigger bar with this… Double check your hammer isn’t broken at the shaft. May look ok when in the gun, but you can only really tell when you take it out and it’s in 2 pieces instead of 1. As for the hop, it’s either been reassembled incorrectly, or is missing the tiny little bb that applies pressure to hop rubber. KWA hops are somewhat… fiddly. I’d recommend getting a TNT retrofit kit for the MP9, drop in and you can hop a .4 and more…
  8. How about a AM/Guarder frame in another colour? They do specific Infinity ones so the markings will match the slide. Probably cheaper than a new pistol.
  9. I’ve set up my DMR with a Modify tan hop and Bavtac nub, I haven’t tested it in the field yet but it’s easily hitting 60metres with a .40 in testing. Running at 290ish (1.56j). Still have adjustment in hop with the Bavtac nub so could use .43 easily I would think.
  10. As a long term sniper, I would welcome the use of bolt action only for ghillie wearers. I think to be a sniper and enjoy that kind of gameplay you need to have a certain mentality (“patient”!), waiting for the shot to become available rather than chasing it. Personally I’ve always enjoyed flanking around the edges and sniping with a bolt action much more rewarding than run and gun, but that’s just me. It’s like playing the game in hard mode, with the kills so much more rewarding. I have been in games with non-snipers being ghillied up, and most of the time they were running about totally negating the use of the ghillie. But the counter point it is Airsoft and a game, so you can’t really say to someone paying the money bringing their own kit on a standard game day “can’t wear that mate”. Saying that I’ll be DMR’ing for the first time at the weekend (non-ghillie), so I may change my mind!
  11. Thank you, pretty sure they aren’t gen1 GHK as I have one and there are a few differences, but maybe original WA/WOC though.
  12. Hive mind, I’m struggling to get a precise ID on these mags I have. They came with a G&P M4 (WA based) GBBR, so can presume they are for that, but have no idea who made them. PMag shells fit nicely, but have been filed down at the front slightly. The inner gas tanks are totally bare, but don’t seem to match any others I’ve seen. Help me hive mind Kenobi, you’re my only hope…
  13. Currently have a Guarder Night Hawk on my 4.3 build, zero issues with it. Does have all Guarder internals on the slide, but a Gunsmith Bros frame with AM steel bits. Never had an issue with any other Guarder stuff either, also have a Guarder slide/frame on my M&P9L build.
  14. Current pistol collection. A day off today so I though my I’d gather them all for posterity. I did manage to miss the Desert Eagle and Hi Capa 5.1, but you’ve all seen one of those…
  15. Ordered a load of Glock parts direct from them last year, no issues whatsoever, they shipped the order within 2 days. No customs charges on arrival either, was about £60 worth of bits.
