I like it, it's different!
Yes it's ugly, but in a likeable kind of way, like a Pug 🤣

So been working on this bad boy.
Still not finished. But its getting there...
So it's an ares A3
Managed to fit the angry gun mlok rail to it.
Added the C Reinforcement sections.
Hka3 added to rear.
LLM03 3d printed
Not seen in pic is the QR codes added to both sa80 and os4.
Still to do;
Laser engraved the os4
Make a pressure pad and 3d print the coupling.
Weather it all.
My A3 sticker? 👌😍
That setup looks mint!

Sounds fun! I'm local so I'll give it a go soon.

Ah I've seen you on the SA80 Facebook page, looking good. I'm glad I got one, and it's especially nice knowing only 100 will be made of the complete AEG version. I'd upload some pics of mine, but I can't work out how to make the files smaller, it says the images are too large?

the pit viper is also coming out. this place in the us has them in stock ARMY TTI Licensed JW4 Pit Viper CNC Slide Hi-Capa GBB Pistol Airsoft ( Steel Internal Parts Version ) ( Black ) ( Licensed by Taran Tactical Innovations ) (jkarmy.com)
Yeah, due for release in March.

As far as I'm aware, the Pit Viper is the only 'new' TTI being used in JW4, despite AA marking the Sand Viper up as JW4 gun. On TTI's website, it only mentions the Pit under the John Wick collection, which is a shame because it would've been cool to have both guns in the movie. Who knows, maybe the Sand Viper might make a surprise sighting! 😍https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-jw4-pit-viper/

Plus it has iron sights! I prefer the colour of this one though as I've got many black guns.
That's true mate, both are stunning looking guns!

I actually have mine now, I had to import it from Asia. It's a much darker, brick-like colour than it looks in photos.
The finish is nicer than the other AA Hi-Capa I had, but the paint is still quite thin and as such has already come off in the areas which are subjected to some rubbing. I like how the outer barrel sits in the compensator, seems to make for a very flat shooter. The mag goes in smoother than any pistol I've ever had. It also has one of the most realistic (to real steel), triggers I've come across. It has just the right amount of stiffness and then a nice crisp break. It would have been nice if they included an extended silver mag like they do with the RS.
I think it would be easily distinguishable from the real thing, side-by-side but I'm happy enough with it overall, for the price. Actually my biggest gripe is something which mirrors the RS, it doesn't have any iron sights. This was especially annoying as mine came without screws for the SRO.
Looks great, I'm tempted but I think I'll wait for AA's Pit Viper, which looks pretty much the same but in black. Oh, and it's going to be in JW4! 😆

I know the feeling mate, I had given up looking for one of these rails and was looking for something else then stumbled across it.
I hope AG do the updated a3 rail as a kit, I'll definitely get one.
Yes, they will from next month apparently and will be for all brands.

Good spot mate. I've only just sold my A2, but I definitely would've ordered one of these if I still had it.
I got impatient and ordered an Angry Gun A3 instead!

For those interested, AngryGun now have both black and FDE versions available to order on their website (limited to 100 units).
I've got myself one in tan.

Yeah, that’s part of the reason I sold both the ones I had, the trigger pull sucks. Hopefully if they’re changing it for the Gen 5, then it’ll be awesome because the trigger pull was the only issue with it. Everything else is great.
Yup, same here. I loved everything about the gun, apart from that awful trigger! Yes, the weight is more realistic, but the pull is mushy and horrible, nothing like the real steel.
But hey, if they're fixing that, then I'll definitely be ordering the Gen 5 when it drops.
-
I've heard they're ironing out all the gripes that users had with their Gen 3 model, such as the awful trigger feel and poor hop-up adjustment to name a couple. This version could hopefully be a serious winner.

Exciting news! It's great that more firearms manufacturers are starting to follow suit in creating airsoft sections.

Nice, been waiting on this after various brands got excited and started putting out the HKey versions perhaps too quickly. Had an AG comp and silencer arrive the other week and they're nicely made for sure.
I've been holding out in the hope that someone would release this version! The latest I've heard from AG is that preorders will start next month, and that a limited edition full ICS L85A3 in tan or black will be released as a compete package with the rail too.
-
I think it looks great, but it also looks like it'll cost a fair bit.

Angry Gun will be releasing an M-LOK handguard for the SA80 to keep up with the latest version of the A3, as troops have complained about various components on the current version.
I messaged AG and they said to expect it around Christmas time, and that it will come Cerakoted and feature the correct H&K trademarks.
They're also releasing an ICS L85 painted in tan (or black) and will have the handguard and optic rail pre-installed like they have done already with the 'HKey' version.
Attached is a teaser image of a production model, along with the real version.

The trigger is not unrealistic, it is actually realistic of the real thing, it’s just that we are use to the lighter triggers that airsoft Glocks come with.
I carried the real thing on a daily basis during my time in the forces. The trigger is awful. Yes it's heavier like the real steel, but the pull is waaay off and is mushy and just terrible.

Sorry for the late reply. It's beautifully made and feels very close to the real deal. The slide racks like no other airsoft pistol. You can't feel the nozzle moving at all, which makes it feel very nice to rack.
Loading the mags is tricky and slow. The baseplate retention spring often retracts inside the mag and I find I have to prod it with a screwdriver to get it to spring back in place. On a positive note, they look amazing and feel well-built.
The trigger is weird. It's heavy, but also a little mushy. I don't like how it feels and it doesn't feel realistic IMO. Don't get me wrong, it's better than most other airsoft triggers, but it's far from feeling like the real thing.
The hop is a bastard to adjust, but it's fine once it's set. It shoots 0.30g BBs nicely, but accuracy isn't it's party piece.
The recoil impulse is tremendous, and it actually takes skill and some practice to accurately land follow-up shots.
It's a proper training tool and great for collectors, but I think it'll struggle to keep up with more traditional type pistols. It's definitely a trade off of realism over airsoft playability, if that makes sense!
Update. It's a gorgeous collector's piece, but awful to skirmish with. Like I said before, the hop is awful and the trigger is hyper-unrealistic. It's not very accurate beyond 10 or so metres too. I ended up selling mine, but it would be good for someone using it for drills, possibly joining the military or armed police etc.
