Fair one bud. It's a weird move for them to licence two exact same models from two completely different OEMs!
-
I know that, matey. I said I thought SRC make the rival Gen 5 MOS?
-
I thought SRC make the *other new Umarex Gen 5 MOS?

Any idea where I can source a replacement or alternative cocking handle for a Tokyo Mauri MP5A5 NGRS? I slapped her a little too hard during a skirmish and the plastic piece has come off. ? TIA.

Just a heads up or those interested Battle Forge Armaments (BFA) have released a steel slide and outer barrel set which only appears to be for sale in Asia at the mo and costs around the £200 mark. A no from me!

Thanks bud. I am tempted by those upgrades to be fair but I'll give it a proper play and see how it goes first.

So mine's arrived today. I ordered it from a trustworthy store in Hong Kong as it worked out costing around £70 less than if I were to buy it in the UK and it arrived in less than a week. I've only test shot a couple mags, so I can't comment in the longevity of it but overall first impressions are very good and it kicks very hard as you would expect from GHK. The Cerakote finish on the aluminium slide is lovely, and it does feel steel-like to the touch. The polymer frame looks and feels great too. I hated the trigger and on the Gen 3, thankfully the trigger does feel better on the Gen 5 and quite true to the real steel (but still a little mushy). It would be great as a training pistol though. The hop requires the use of an alan key and seems to be slightly easier than the Gen 3's but it's still a pain in the arse (although I haven't adjusted it yet). Another gripe is the pistol feels very light, so make sure you mount a torch and a sight to fatten it up a little. The pistol comes with 4 metal optic mounts, meaning pretty much every micro red dot should be able to fit. You also get a speed loader and a Glock patch. Winner! I will probably get a steel slide in the future but I'm very happy with my purchase at the moment. ☺️

Resurrecting an old thread here. I picked up a P-10C today. Feels great in the hand and is very comfortable thanks to the additional back straps. I haven't had a chance to test it properly but it's very snappy when dry firing. The hop up adjustment is very easy and can be done without removing the slide which is very nice. I messaged ASG about future green gas mags. They said to expect them eventually but not anytime soon.

I like it, it's different! Yes it's ugly, but in a likeable kind of way, like a Pug ?
-
My A3 sticker? ?? That setup looks mint!
-
Sounds fun! I'm local so I'll give it a go soon.

Heretic. I must admit, I do prefer the A2. Maybe because that's what I was issued with and it has a somewhat nostalgic feel to me...
-
Ah I've seen you on the SA80 Facebook page, looking good. I'm glad I got one, and it's especially nice knowing only 100 will be made of the complete AEG version. I'd upload some pics of mine, but I can't work out how to make the files smaller, it says the images are too large?

Yeah, due for release in March.

As far as I'm aware, the Pit Viper is the only 'new' TTI being used in JW4, despite AA marking the Sand Viper up as JW4 gun. On TTI's website, it only mentions the Pit under the John Wick collection, which is a shame because it would've been cool to have both guns in the movie. Who knows, maybe the Sand Viper might make a surprise sighting! ?https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-jw4-pit-viper/
-
That's true mate, both are stunning looking guns!
-
Looks great, I'm tempted but I think I'll wait for AA's Pit Viper, which looks pretty much the same but in black. Oh, and it's going to be in JW4! ?
-
Yes, they will from next month apparently and will be for all brands.
-
Good spot mate. I've only just sold my A2, but I definitely would've ordered one of these if I still had it. I got impatient and ordered an Angry Gun A3 instead!
-
For those interested, AngryGun now have both black and FDE versions available to order on their website (limited to 100 units). I've got myself one in tan.
-
Don't come here with your Glock-racism...??
-
Yup, same here. I loved everything about the gun, apart from that awful trigger! Yes, the weight is more realistic, but the pull is mushy and horrible, nothing like the real steel. But hey, if they're fixing that, then I'll definitely be ordering the Gen 5 when it drops.

I've heard they're ironing out all the gripes that users had with their Gen 3 model, such as the awful trigger feel and poor hop-up adjustment to name a couple. This version could hopefully be a serious winner.
