So I have already sorted my external upgrades(will eventually swa the acog for a vortex)

Just got my MWS last week  This forum/Thread has been super useful and loving looking at everyone's builds! She is stock at the moment, just added the Vortex Strikefire II, foregrip and a NuprolNX400 Torch/Laser so far

Longtime lurker, first time poster. I blame this thread entirely for encouraging me to buy and modify an MWS 😁 (thanks?). Have had a number of AEGs and GBB pistols, but this was my first venture into GBBRs.
 
 I stupidly decided to go down the expensive and difficult route of modify my first MWS to recreate John Wicks TR-1, albeit with a few minor changes. It's more akin to the current version sold on Brownells as opposed to the version seen in the movie. A little bit of both I guess. So far its mostly externals, but I intend on working on the internals as well. Once I have some more money that is 😅.

it’s good quality and fits well, but the flash hider thread is 14mm clockwise (not counter clockwise like everything else) So your choice of flash hiders is limited or you need to get a converter.
 
 
 

The AEG Rails can fit.  You just need one of the adaptor rings to secure. 

The Mk18 front rail is now few and far between, I got lucky with mine. Last place I got one was Daves Custom airsoft. And they are now out of stock. (Just checked)

Nuprol made one, but are out of production and stock almost every where. You're gunna be hard pressed to find a front rail new.

The Madbull rail fits the MWS even if it states its only for AEG. As that is what mine is.

Here are my two MWS builds so far:

 
Right one is a 13.5" build with a Trijicon 1-8x26 Accupower mounted with Geissele Super Precision mount, and Trijicon RM06 on a canted mount (I only use the RMR at really close distances where the hop up doesn't matter). This thing hops .43s at 2.35J and is an absolute monster. I out-range most sniper rifles at the field, and the gun is laser precise. 
 
Left one is a 7" B.A.D. build, with an EOTech EXPS2-0-GRN. Working on switching the handguard to a real steel BCM MCMR to match the BCM bolt carrier, as the Fortis rail is omega-dumb (M-LOK on the sides, keymod on the bottom, why?). All gunsmodify internals, but I'm still hammering out some of the kinks with the gun. This thing performs superbly in CQB to midrange.
