  1. DEs are fine, so long as you're not a knob with it. Loads of people have them now and they're fine for the job.
  2. The TM is neither a shell ejector, nor inefficient as mentioned above. The Double eagle guns are all pretty crap with the exception of the m56 shotguns, they do a range of them with different stocks and barrel lengths. Get one of those unless you can afford a TM. If you can afford one, you'd be mad to go for anything else. TM spring shot guns are a waste, more money for pretty much the same thing.
  3. Likewise, I keep the mount on the gun to flip and play with but the magnifier is in a bag somewhere
  4. I get what your saying Ed but a lot of reports suggest a 30 min briefing, not sure how accurate or exaggerated that is but that's a hell of a long time
  5. To be fair the majority of the people I know who've been comment on the length of the brief so I'd assume to people who aren't regulars it's a noticeable issue?
  6. Yeah I often get my local to run through the riot shield rules with a bit more detail if there looks like a lot of new players to the site. There's about 4 on the site and they work well but only when the rules are followed for them
  7. Just read out everywhere I've been to, I guess if it's too quiet you could either mention it too them or move closer.
  8. Useful for looking around, not for anything else.
  9. Blowback in airsoft purely refers to having the bolt cover moving back and forth or similar, not recoil. In this instance the g&g is about as good as it gets
  10. It's not a gas gun don't worry, all you need is a battery.
  11. Me neither but the option's there all the same
  12. The hsgi has cutouts at the bottom to allow drop legs to be used too which I think is a nice design.
  13. I have one, definitley is, I'd have bought an alternative had I known beforehand lol You might be able to undo the stitching but it's probably not worth the effort and even then may be only the end parts of the belt required to do up, I'm very thin so wanted to swap it out for a smaller diameter inner belt.
  14. The warrior belt is good but given the choice, the HSGI is a better option, you can run your own inner belt in it too, the warrior ones have the internal belt sewn into them and are quite fat.
  15. I'd be surprised if it cost more than £5, though I've never broken and mag lips so couldn't say for sure
  16. New mag lips will be cheaper- look at milspec solutions and tactical quartermaster, I imagine one or both will have them.
  17. You'll need a new upper receiver, barrel, barrel nut etc.
  18. What's your dmr limit? A longer barrel won't affect you're FPS very much, tighter will but length won't do so much- how big an increase are you expecting? Even with the small power gain you would get from a different barrel, you won't get a big increase in performance- in that case you'd be better off using a slightly shorter barrel so you can still use your rifle in closer situations if needed, much more versatile.
  19. Might as well get a shorter one so you can have both suppressor on and off to be honest, it'll make basically no performance difference. Get a madbull or a laylax prometheus, either will do the job- the latter being the better of the two.
  20. Dboys used to sell over here but went away a bit with the clamp down of Chinese clones. It's very much a lower end gun though, below a jing gong which was comparible at the time, they sold for much less than £300 though, more closer to £100-150 Their AKs were pretty good but with a budget of £400 a dboys isnt something that I could recommend which the likes of g&g, G&p, kwa, tm etc
  21. You can just about get a tm recoil for £400, that's what I'd go for.
  22. Very good, especially for the money. I've had three and each have had updates which shows they probably listen to issues and go about fixing them too which is always a good sign. To clarify I've had three due to changing colours, not due to breakages or anything. The ones I sold have been to friends who had good use of them before also selling on for different coloured ones.
  23. No it won't. In the cold it's fine, and in the majority they take it fine in the summer too. The newer ones are more susceptible to failures on propane but the older ones certainly are fine. He said he wanted a gas for the winter and for that propane is the perfect choice
  24. Propane in the conservatory weather is your cheapest option.
