Trying to make my Hi-Capa to look a little like a 1911! I just need to get the safeties to be black to match the two tone aesthetic. Also added Tritium sights to be able to aim better in low light conditions

Where did your forum name originate?

It's based on a dumb joke. Say my name very fast. -
Show your guns that make the purists cry

Out of the two, I'd be getting the E&L, that gun will be full steel construction. whereas the the Dboys will most likely be pot metal. the E&L is well worth the extra money!

I was in the same spot as you, i recently wanted to make a hi capa build which wasn't a speedsoft esque gun. And the only options I really had were guarder. I had to do cut off a small bit of BBU (which guarder state you have to do) to get the stock blowback unit to fit and ever so slightly file the screw hole that secures the blowback unit to the slide. But it wasn't anything strenuous. I managed to fit it onto my stock frame no problem, paired with a 5KU outer barrel that doesn't tilt. Works like a dream. The criticism from knuckles is warranted. However the current market trend for hi capa slides are more suited to speed soft builds. In short, you get what you pay for.

First and Only - Top Secret, Manchester
Terrywristt replied to DanBow's topic in Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews
If you're looking for a indoor CQB gamesite in Manchester, I'd recommend Level 2, they have really interesting game modes which involve handmade props with functioning electronics that are used in the objectives. They do evening games over the weekday and the staff are a great bunch! -
AAP's have quite a few PCC kits that take TM/WE Glock mags OOTB. I have the Lambda Defense GHM9 and they've taken my WE/Vorsk mags fine, however I've heard reports that it's a very tight fit with TM mags

Simple google image search shows he's photoshopped it using this as the source Steer clear. Report him to a mod

I use the HPA glock mag that takes MP5 mags from Airtac and I've had absolute no problems with it!

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Terrywristt replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
It's been a long time coming, But I bought what I consider my holy grail of guns since I first started back in 2016. Daytona AK105 with my WE Desert Eagle, ran it at my local CQB site, they may not be what people consider Meta but god damn is it fun firing these two guns -
Might be worth considering replacing the holster.. I personally use the CTM Holster for the AAP, but i think it would fix the galaxy

Level 2 airsoft in Atherton seem to be running the exact scenario you're suggesting as a bank holiday one-off, I imagine they'll make it regular if they get good feedback. They also run a tap-tap pause rule as a regular rule in their normal game days, which provides much more interesting gameplay compared to your standard semi-auto rules in CQB sites.

I brought an LCT AS VAL second hand years back for an incredibly good price (£200 with 10 mid caps), however It has been sat on my gun wall for awhile and needed some TLC. After LCT and TWI announced they were going to release external parts for the gun, I decided I was going to give this gun the TLC it deserves. My LCT AS VAL Modernization project is finally complete.

I would personally avoid GHK at the moment, especially with their AK's, they are having issues with QC for a few years now

As others have said, it might be worth just going the normal M4 route, as you'll have a plethora of customisation options. If you're dead set on the M14 look then i'd still keep it as a full auto AEG. DMR FPS limits tend to fluctuate between sites as there's no "standard" so there's a risk of you not being able to field your DMR if you do decide to try different sites. I'd only start thinking about making a DMR when you already have an full auto AEG. Also you got to take into account that a lot of sites have a minimum engagement distance for snipers/DMR's and carrying a pistol is a requirement if you do decide to use a sniper/DMR, for you to be able to engage targets who fall below their MED.

So an AAP pistol and a MP7 got pissed and had a one night stand

This looks like the punchline for a "We have MP7 at home" meme. -

When the AAP-01 first came out, though the price/performance was really good. I really couldn't get behind the aesthetics.. So when the CTM ruger kit came out. I had to get it. I think the only thing I will change in the future is the trigger and the bolt.. But for now I'm pretty chuffed with how it looks!
