If you're covering it in silicone spray, that may be the issue 😬

Yeah when I say covering that might be a bit miss leading. I spray the mag rubber bits and the slide/ contact points. I don’t spray in the barrels or hop. Basically my maintenance skills are basic and from YouTube.

Personally I think Vorsk/Raven/WE/Armorer Works 1911 hop units are just nigh-on useless. Is this just for the look or do you want to do some serious skirmishing with it?

Mostly for target pinking, but want it to be useable for playing definitely.

A couple of years ago I bought the newly released Asia Electric (WE) Sig P320 (m17)

It did the same thing, badly designed and made hop unit which applied pressure at an angle instead of from direct top of the beeb

If you remove the inner barrel from the outer, apply 50% hop , then take a look through from the hop end, is it square vertically?

could be your outer barrel & rubber is slightly tilted to the side during assembly?

Great. Thanks for the advice. I’ll try that and see what it looks like.  I didn’t want to go fiddling with it if it was a standard fix like firing a few more rounds through, especially as my tech knowledge is limited to taking guns apart and covering them in silicon spray and grease LOL

  3. I’ve recently got the “Hitman” Vorsk vx9 1911 with the extended barrel silencer brand new from Patrol base. Tried shooting around 20 shots through it but it’s shooting quite heavily to the left with and without the silencer attached. Has anyone experienced anything like this and is there a simple solution I’ve missed? I.e more hop, more rounds through? I’ve been reluctant to do too much so far in case it needs returning.

Cheers. I’ll give it a good few solid racks and if no joy try send it back.

Quick update. So turns out there were a couple of bbs stuck inside the hop but it took a lot of fiddling to get them out as I’d already tried clearing the barrels. One of the bbs that came out was quite chewed up, so I don’t know what caused that! Then on the next fire test (only loaded 3 bbs in the mag) same thing happened, so pretty sure it’s a dud gun. Contacting Bullseye to get it resolved.

Sadly, they're pretty fragile.  I'm not entirely clear on the problem you're having, but would note that the pump has to be fully forwards before the trigger will activate.  Since it's currently stuffed, I'd give it a good old heave and slam in both directions.  If you start disassembling, you'll end up with an awful lot of small parts and are unlikely to find replacements for any broken bits, so I'd avoid that unless Bullseye don't fancy taking the return.

Cheers. I’ll give it a good few solid racks and if no joy try send it back.

  6. I’ve just bought a CYMA CM.350 (spring pump action) from Bullseye County Sports. I’ve only run 2 shell mags through and it’s stopped working?!? (Using ASG bbs) Pumps gone loose so won’t rack forwards and no trigger pull. Would cold weather affect a spring shottie or have I just got a dud? I need to get on to Bullseye and get replaced?

Lovely! I used to have a real steel Cz75. Great pistol! I've been considering getting an airsoft version myself.

I shot a real steel one in the Czech Republic and fell in love. (It was the cadet version so in .22 I think, but so much fun)

    Thanks for letting me know.

I know KJW guns have even worse coatings than many other airsoft pistols.

But finish apart, how is the general build quality ,how well does it function, hold gas, etc., if you don't mind me asking?

I’ve got the ASG CZ75 and Shadow and both perform well. I only have green gas mags but understand that the co2 are much better, but Sunday just gone I was able to use them to decent effect (but one mag died before last 6 or so bbs fired. The 75 feels amazing and looks great but the paint is pretty shit so I’ve sanded mine on corners etc for an “ex service” look. It does have “ASG 6mm bb” on one side which is irritating and I’ve gin over with a black marker. I also swapped the grips from my shadow to the 75 (really nice black rubber on the shadow and they look even better on the 75) the ones on the 75 are historically accurate but the plastic 70/80s style ones, which I’m not so keen on.

Amazing. Obviously this is a thing of beauty. Only tiny thing I think you could add are the black rubber grips from the cz shadow or pearl grips 🙌

My package arrived on Friday. Very well packed and the tracking service meant I could watch the journey across Poland and Germany with great excitement.

My only issue was that the cocking handle on my MP5 had snapped in 2 places while in the box! (I know these handles are meant to be temperamental, but I at least wanted the opportunity to break it myself with a good slap!) I contacted them and they are sending me a new handle, no fuss, which I was happy with.

Everything else in the package was spot on and prices seemed as good as you could get.

As promised my replacement cocking lever arrived free of charge. Great service and helpful when I had an issue.

TaiwanGun is on UKASA's retailer list: https://www.ukasa.org/approved-retailers

However, Border Farce may or may not know about UKASA, as opposed to UKARA, and may or may not give a stuff either way.  I note that the UKASA site was written by a sperglord, and provides no statement or implication that Border Farce will be given access.

However to the however, when I asked Border Farce how many UKARA checks they make, their answer might best have been summarised as:

Good to know they’re very competent and keeping us safe, and not just collecting our taxes and holding us up at airports.

Yes, with UKARA you'll be fine.

When ordering an AEG, you can request them to restrict fps to 350 for free.

(Duno if they replace the spring or chop it though)

If you don't request it then you may have to change it yourself.

Nice one. Will request that limit as want full auto AEGs.

  14. Probably already answered this question, but When ordering from these guys, do you just need the UKASA number and your personal details etc and it gets through customs ok? Just planning to make a first order from them and don’t want HMRC burning my kit. My postcode works fine by the way, but did have to put it all in caps!
