I haven't played with it yet...But I've put about a thousand rounds through it on a range, had a fiddle inside, downgraded the spring etc. Aesthetically, beautiful. It looks mean and the materials used in its creation are of clear quality. It also feels nice, even if you're not pulling the trigger, it's got weight and a good texture, as well as balance. If you're firing it, there's a definite lurch in the gun when the bolt moves; it's not quite 9mm, but you feel it and it makes the experience worth having. Sounds mean too, there's a hefty blowback and the gearbox sounds healthy. Range is 30-40m out the box with just a 350fps downgrade, hop makes a huge difference; without hop the fps is erratic, with a little hop it'll sit within about 6fps range. Overall, Finius is a happy camper.

Today I'm happy because I purchased the M203 launcher and a nade for my M4 off someone on the forums... I've got two parts left to source and then I'm done. My stock, which I think I've found on eBay, though if that doesn't go through, there's options available all over the place, and then my charging handle, which won't be problematic to source. The first part also arrived today; the trigger guard; I usually find that standard trigger guards for M4s rub against my fingers, which, with my abrasive and full-on play-style can get a bit sore after a while, this one seems a bit nicer - possibly because it's polymer, so that's nice, other than that though it reaffirms my belief that magpul stuff is just fairly average...Still, happy.

I don't pay any attention to them anyways; they just think I'm special, what they don't understand is that my specialness is actually supressed genius shining through I wish I had some slippers right now...

For those that missed it in other threads, today I ACTUALLY bought some airsoft stuff. M4 parts mostly. I also bought some awesome silverside steak which was equally good.

The bipod grip sits at the back, just in front of the magwell, the M203 then goes in front of that...It's only gonna be a short m203... Marksman; pretty much. Once I decide that something's happening, it's either happening or it just plain aint possible within the realms of mortal living and physics...

Started the official work on my M4 Been completely bitten by the airsoft bug again where before I had been slacking off. I've got the handguard rails coming to replace that horrible RIS system I had on it, a new switch assembly which will make it fully functional, my magpul trigger guard and the rear iron sight. Still got a lot to do if I'm sticking to my original plan (PEQ, M203, Podgrip, BAD lever, Big Charging Handle, Ambi-release, Aimpoint, Paintjob etc), but at least it'll work...

I'm happy, really happy. You know why I'm happy? I just got paid a serious shedload, which means I can finish my M4 project which I was previously going to sell, skirmish every other weekend for the next four months (just off this payday) AND also buy a ton of junk for upto £200... Finius won the game.
