    So I recently acquired this pts masada akm and am looking to probably use it but first I'd like to remove this god awful kryptek style paint job it has. From the look of it the gun was tan originally, would I beable to get it back to that or am I hoping too much? Any advice on products to use, techniques etc is very much appreciated TIA

    the advice I was given before was to put a little dab of superglue on the bottom part and the grip should hold it in place when put back on

    PTS AKM Masada for a grand total of................................................... £20 no mags though, already sourced some so need to wait for delivery has a mosfet and other upgrades already installed Been a walhanger for a few years and was placed in a bargain bin as couldn't get the mags. Even if I couldn't get the mags it was too good to turn down

    hop might be set to zero so there's nothing putting pressure on the bbs to keep them in the barrel

    I used to run an osprey vest when i first started but it got much too hot when moving around when i switched to more eastern gear I started using a smersh yoke and belt similar to the one in the picture but with a slimmer molle style belt Also use braces under my shirt to help with falling down trousers ?

    I had a similar problem a while ago with an ak. Had a friend look at it and I think he said it was something to do with the cycle timing. works now though so whatever he did worked. I'm not confident enough to mess with all the settings so might be worth finding someone that knows asters

    seeing that it hasn't been used in a while the hop rubber has probably dried out and deteriorated and could be blocking the barrel

    which specna ak specifically? I've used parts from a cyma ak and it fitted a G&G ak, for the cost of them it might be worth just getting a cyma selector and giving it a try
